I stayed here the 10th of January thru the 14th: the staff are excellent and the entire experience was awesome. The location is perfect. Mexico City is a wonder, beautiful destination and I will be going again soon and I’ll definitly be staying here again.
Amazing value and wonderful service

If you come to Mexico City with sightseeing in mind, consider this hotel. It’s incredibly central, in a safe neighborhood and will provide an wonderful jumping off point for your adventures. This is an older property but it’s clean, safe and functional. Not fancy but if you’re in CDMX you probably won’t be spending a ton of time in your room anyway. They can arrange tours at the front desk, I found the prices they offered me to be somewhat cheaper than booking online through tour websites (trip to the pyramid was offered at 500 mxn, far far cheaper than online prices). Juan at the front desk was kind and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. I’ll definitely book at this hotel for future visits.
Great for the price

I enjoyed my stay I was there for two days three nights during the day of the dead festivities, rooms are small tv is small but for the price they charge this hotel is just what is needed especially if you are someone like me coming from the US to participate in tours and sightseeing. The hotel had a few bars, movie theater and little spots to eat right around the corner and was conveniently located a few blocks away from the cathedral as well as down the street from the famous mercado de los dulces and jardin de rosas. The lady at the front desk in the morning was not rude but it was impossible to get her to slightly smile, I guess thats just the way she is oh well.
Good for a one night stay

We recently stayed at Hotel San Francisco. You can't ask for luxury when you pay cheap. Positive points: it has a very central position which allows you to move around the city easily, you can find a lot of nice restaurants in the area. Negative points: night staff are not the friendliest, elevators are stuffed in the morning and we had to take the stairs (from ninth floor), they gave us room 901 (next to the elevators) and you can hear a lot of people talking and walking by from 7am. If you want to sleep in the morning until late, ask for a different room.
It's a sketchy hotel

My bf and I wanted a hotel near the central historic are of Mexico City , we were only gonna stay for one night in Mexico City. We found this hotel and saw that it had 3 1/2 stars , and people were saying it was okay . Well, if y'all don't mind, broken TV sets , very dirty rooms , uncomfortable beds and a door that doesn't lock , then stay here . We couldn't stay . We felt very unsafe since we wanted to explore the city , we didn't want to leave our stuff in a place where the door doesn't lock. If that wasn't bad enough, the walls are paper thin, we were in between a bunch of men that were partying . We couldn't handle it so we left to another hotel . Beware people!
