A very nice property with some glitches in customer services

Generally, I had a very good stay at the hotel. I think the facility was very beautiful and the location was great. I found the amenities to be good too. I also liked the fact that they had on-site testing. I just have one major complaint and a smaller one. Before I visited Mexico city, I tried really hard to reach out to the hotel to ask some basic questions about my stay. It was next impossible for me to reach the hotel from phone or the email I found online. Eventually, my angry message to their facebook message group got response from JW Marriott and I was able to communicate with the hotel staff after that. However, I almost cancelled my reservation based on how difficult it was to reach the hotel before my stay. The other issue we had was on the final day when all of our keys got deactivated before our checkout. That was more of an annoyance than anything else.

Great experience!

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway, and had an amazing experience. Great customer service everywhere. While true some of the rooms are dated (hence the reason upper floors are being renovated but a great time for the hotel to do that) our view (of Chapultapec Park) was amazing, and we truly appreciated the level of safety measures in place (temp checks, hand sanitizer, everyone required to wear masks, free Covid tests on site if needed (not required for CBX crossing) - this was exceptional). The concierge helped arrange a fantastic tour to the Pyramids and great restaurant recommendations (thank you Alberto). While the lounge was closed, we were offered free breakfasts instead, which was a la carte, all of which were great. The gym was very clean and all updated equipment. What a treat to return to this wonderful hotel in a great location in Polanco (tons of great restaurants/shopping within walking distance). If there was construction at the hotel we did not even notice it. Would definitely stay here again on next trip.

Great Customer Service

We have not checked-in yet for our stay at the JW Marriott Mexico City but we have already been getting really good customer service from Martha Lazo, the Customer Experience Manager and Ernesto from Concierge. It’s really comforting to know that the hotel staff care and work hard to make your stay something to look forward to. What makes or breaks a hotel stay for us is really the total customer experience.

Your Mexico City Sanctuary!

JW was the first step of our 2 weeks Mexico vacation and we absolutely adored it. Located in the heart of Polanco, you will be woken up by bird songs from a nearby park - in the middle of Mexico City!!! Impeccable interior design, very convenient location, super delicious food, spacious and clean rooms, pool with the most amazing view are just some of the good sides of this hotel. However, what makes it truly memorable are people! The level of hospitality and service they provide is hard to compete with. All of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel warm, welcomed, and at home. Special thanks to Tamara and the lovely guy at the concierge (sorry that we didn’t remember his name!) who spoiled us so much. All you have to do is send a text and they will book you restaurants, taxis, recommend places to go, tours to do and they always do it so wholeheartedly! On a separate note, traveling during pandemics felt very safe at JW, with all protocols and safety measurements being in place. Thank you JW for having us, you have loyal customers who will be coming over and over again!

Fabulous Stay! Great location!

This hotel is in the heart of Polanco and close to all the amazing shops and restaurants, the rooms have amazing views, the property is super clean and covid compliant, and most importantly I felt the staff really went above and beyond for me and my stay! I would certainly stay here again. You can't go wrong here. Loved it! Thanks JW Marriott!
