Convenient above T2 in Mexico City and comfortable beds.
I will say that the website of the NH Collection T2 is not very clear. I couldn't understand the layout of the hotel. I wanted to get a room with views across the airport runways rather than an inner courtyard view. I reserved through email and was very well served by Leonardo Guerrero who replied promptly and explained all the things I asked about. However, he said the 3rd floor would be closed and that is the only floor with airport views. When we checked in, I was attended by Oscar, who was patient to show me a few rooms and finally was able to place us on the 3rd floor as I wanted. The third-floor rooms with views are only Superior type. There isn't much difference between Premium or Superior, so I went with those. 3 rooms next to each other. The rooms are basic. Decor has seen better days. There was no hair conditioner. Kleenex boxes were sent upon request. One thing that I have to admit is that the bedsheets were crisp and the mattress comfortable so we slept very well. The next day breakfast with the assisted buffet was OK. Pastries not best tasting but OK. There were a few people so we got good service from 4 waiters: Giovani, Inés, Cirilo and Sergio, who made sure we had everything OK. If you need to stay in T2 this is the only hotel above the terminal and it can be convenient for a stopover or 2-night stay if you have an early morning flight.
Great breakfast and airport layover
We stayed the night between flights and they really looked after us. The bags were sprayed as we Arrived, they took hygiene and safety really seriously! The breakfast food was amazing! We had everything!! Edwardo and Felipe looked after us so well, they explained all the food, they helped us with Spanish and translations! Elizabeth Cooked the most amazing breakfast. We loved it here
NH Collection Restaurant Terminal 2
Visited for business and received great service from Lupita and the staff. I asked for a Vegan dish and they accommodated and served one of the best portobello dishes I ever had. Will recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great and Safe Room Service
I spent 2 weeks in the NH hotel: i’m very please and greatefull for room service, always in time, safe and with special care in the preparation: I would like to say thanks to Alberto, Pablo and Captain Porfirio for the excellent service
TERRIBLE SERVICE
While convenient because it was inside the airport, my experience was horrible. After a LONG wait to check in, the receptionist "could not" find my reservation. It's funny that they were able to locate the most expensive cancelled reservation but not the reservation that was made by their staff (Ariel) initially made their staffer Luna. This whole experience was NOT worth the amount I paid to stay. I received 3 calls in our room asking first for what we wanted to order for breakfast. Placed my order (3 guests). They called hours later stating that they could only give us 1 breakfast even though we had 3 guests. They treat you as if you are abother if call to ask for something that you may need. I would avoid this property at all cost. Plenty of other options very close by.
