My Favorite Hotel in the World

Reviewed 11 january, 2022

There are things about this hotel that are of intangible value and when put together, really make it special. The old doorman Hugo, the professional staff in uniform, the art deco sign in front of the cafe, the location next to Pushkin Park in Roma Norte, the incredible taco place on the corner, the Roma Norte ambiance. The hotel just has a great vibe. Travelled to 55 countries in the world. This is my favorite hotel in the world. A 6 story hotel that has very reasonable prices, for the area.

Friendliest and most helpful staff, super comfy beds! Clean room. Great location!

We got off to a very bumpy start to our trip in Mexico due to our flights being messed up and then not receiving our baggage for 4 days - however, staying at Stanza Hotel with these homely rooms and absolutely LOVELY staff really turned the situation around for us. Firstly, we were stressing about our delayed flight (we landed 2 hours late around midnight) and missing our check-in time, but when we arrived the staff were there at the desk 24 hours and the staff were very easy going and friendly. Relief. The rooms are a little dated, however everywhere is super clean, well maintained and the rooms are really good value for money. Beds are really comfy and great to get through the jet lag. Good filter coffee offered every morning too! The BIGGEST thanks to David, Veronica and the staff at the front desk for helping us sort out a nightmare situation losing our baggage and dealing with very unhelpful airlines. David went well out of his way to help us when he really didn’t have to, phoning non stop to find our luggage, and staying into the situation. We are so grateful. He is also full of interesting knowledge about Mexican history and what to see in the city! Cannot express how welcoming and great all the staff are here. Would come back again just to see them!

A great experience!

I'd a very nice experience at this hotel. The location, my room, and service staff all were excellent. Mr. Emerson (or Anderson) was extremely courteous and helpful with his perfect English. He deserves to be a part of the management with his pleasant attitude. One thing which I particularly did not like was the bed. The mattress was a little too hard for my liking, but the staff showed me a few rooms to see if I could find something better. The elevator was functioning well, and they provide me with water bottle/s each morning. The street gets busy specially during the evening but my room wasn't affected. Now that might be different for the rooms with a street view. I'd totally recommend staying there.

GREAT PRICE, GREAT BEDS!, GREAT LOCATION

This is a very location in Mexico City, the hotel is a small hotel, only 6 floors, but the rooms are comfortable not by mention the great beds it has, you can walk around this facility and you will find many restaurants, pubs and taquerias. Parking is small, so you need to take your cautions.
