I am not a picky guest at all. But The entire floor stunk marijuana like you wouldn’t believe. Guests usually get charged heavy fines when their rooms smell cigarettes, how come an entire hotel can stink marijuana and get away with it? In a state where it’s not even legal. The room was freezing and nobody could help turn off the AC, it felt like an igloo and we all became sick the next day to start our cruise. Not clean overall neither. But the smell and the cold was unbearable

Love staying at this property and my stays have always been pleasurable. Love the convenience of the location, perfect location in the heart of Miami Beach! Beach access across the street. Staff are always super helpful and hospitable!

I booked here and then read the recent reviews and felt a little bit nervous. But we had a very pleasant experience and I have no regrets :) There was signage at the entrance to south beach that directed us to check in at Boulon (so clearly, they paid attention to feedback on making check in easier to find). We were greeted warmly upon arrival. Victor, at the front desk was incredibly helpful. They took the time to give us directions to our rooms next door (note, south beach is clearly not wheelchair accessible, there is a small set of stairs from the lobby to the rooms and elevator) The rooms were not huge, but immaculate and i liked the funky blue bathroom doors and the rain shower. The rooftop pool and bar was lovely. Unfortunately, it was extremely windy when we were there and we couldn't really enjoy the pool. (Not the fault of the hotel). It is a small space and I can see how it would quickly get crowded. One thing to improve--we stopped up after breakfast on friday morning around 10 am to check out the conditions and nothing was set up yet and the cushions for the furniture were still in the elevator lobby. This might have been because it was so windy. But we could not have stayed on the roof if we wanted to deal with the wind as there was no place to sit. It was set up the previous evening though. The location of the hotel was convenient. A really nice added perk, was the free Yoga instruction on the beach. They had other classes, but we were not there for them. The yoga instructor was very sweet and I enjoyed her practice. This made up for the less than impressive Gym. The gym is 24 hours but the equipment wasn't all working. (On our first day there, they literally had a ladder on the treadmill leaning against the wall. ). My son and daughter still made use of the gym for an hour, but this would be an opportunity for improvement. We received complimentary breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It had a limited menu and the portions were a little small, but it was delicious. (Probably one of the best waffle's I have had). If you didn't like the complimentary options there was an ample ala cart menu from which to order. I also liked that it was a quiet space (we were traveling as a family) amid a very busy spring break. The front garden was under renovation, so there were no chairs or tables outside, which was a bit of a bummer, but the space was still lovely and the art deco look and feel was preserved. We did wander down to the beach and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Christian set us up and made himself available as needed. The only real complaint: the coffee/espresso machine in the room was a little confusing and no instructions were available. I would stay again.
