Hotel is in desperate need of remodeling. Service was good. Rooms need new furniture and bathrooms are out of date. There is no electronic outlets. Lobby is nice. Breakfast was good, and made to order and they have service to the port which is why we were there.

Disappointed, Dated, and Dirty this sums up our stay at this property..... elevators are busted there are no signs to tell you this... instead the hotel staff leaves this to you to figure out. the lobby and main area of the hotel look to be updated fairly recently but that's where it stops..... the rooms appear to be from the 90 with cheap tiny mattresses, ripped carpet, and cockroaches. The staff is very inattentive and slow I asked for a blanket for my pullout and they never came... I had to go and get it myself! did online check-in and my room key on the Hilton app didn't work so I had to go to the front desk to get a new one which meant I had to go all the way back downstairs after I'd already played the elevator game... the staff was talking crap about another guest who had a credit card problem. The shuttle drove right past my family and they didn't offer to send him back.... overall Id rate this property a 0 out of 10 and would deff not recommend . This is from a loyal Gold member who continued to stay with Hilton during COIVD....

I’m not sure what’s going on with Hilton and the inconsistency with their brands. I’ve been traveling 10 days. Since then I’ve stayed at 4 hotels (3 Hilton owned: the British Colonial-Nassau, The Hampton Inn-Vero Beach and Embassy Suites-Miami Airport). The only nice one was the Hampton. I already left a review for Hilton BC Nassau. So now, this Embassy Suites. First impression, very nice, new lobby (but freezing cold). The check-in time took awhile with the number of arriving guests and only 2 staff at the counter. Next, the rooms, while very large and clean, are in dire need of a modern makeover and brighter, refreshed look. The TVs worked but had no guide and mismatched controls (this is the case with all the hotels this trip). And I had to work during this trip but good, constant WiFi wasn’t free at Hilton (not even for Honors members). The basic free wifi was spotty and slow. I paid $4.95/d at Hampton but refused to pay the $9.95/d at Embassy Suites. A few issues we had were the sheets on the bed were old and stained. I don’t doubt they were clean but they need to be discarded. The room is large so the temperature couldn’t be regulated with one thermostat. And the phones didn’t work. I had to go to the front desk a few times to report my issues because they couldn’t hear me. The maintenance team and Henry were great in trying to resolve the issues

We booked this hotel and decided to try the digital key and pick our room ahead of time for the first time. Then I came on here to see if there was a good location to pick for the room and read all of the negative reviews and was a little worried. We called a couple of times on our way in to ask questions and did not get a good feeling but I will say that all changed the minute we arrived. The digital key was fantastic. We drove in, parked, walked straight to the bar for happy hour and grabbed a drink. Then up to the room where we our key/phone worked perfectly allowing us entry to the room I had chosen which was perfect. The next morning was very crowded for breakfast but we were able to find a table and enjoy the hot cooked to order breakfast. We could not have asked for more!

We stayed at this hotel on November 28 after disembarking from a cruise. First, we had wait at least 4 hours to get our room. Secondly, we had requested a crib for our baby and they told us they would find us one. After 4 hours of us asking about it, they finally told us it was just a request and unfortunately, they couldn't get us one. We booked this room 2 months in advance. When we got to our room, there were tacks sticking up from the carpet going to the bathroom. Happy hour was from 5:30 to 7:30 and by 5:45, they were out of snacks. When I told the bartender, she handed me a bowl to put out there which was kind of strange. I would never stay at this hotel ever again.
