Fontainebleau Miami Beach

brandon was really helpful with all my concerns, the equipment was clean and up to date with technology. the gym followed covid regulations and had so many machines i never seen. probably will live in the gym during my vacation!

We are staying here now in the middle of an 8 day vacation. Have stayed here many times. Sorrento tower oceanfront suite and jr suite. They are not doing housekeeping now due to Covid, but was not mentioned when booking. Will bring you fresh towels and coffee. We have traveled a lot in past 6 months and this is the first hotel to not offer housekeeping. Would not have stayed here had we known. Room was straightened up when we arrived but not cleaned well at all. All room doors and kitchen cabinets are dirty and need wiped down. Microwave and fridge especially bad. Carpets not clean and need vacuumed. Balcony not clean. We called several times and they finally cleaned but just the bare basics. Nothing wiped down or cleaned well. Also, room is in major need of an update. Furniture all chipped and worn. No closet to hang things. Two armoires with a shelving a rod to hang but shorts too long to hang in them. Bathroom tiles chipped and cracked. Heat/air fan wouldn’t work. Only one high fan setting. Public restrooms not cleaned up either. And to top it off they start leaf blowers around 6 am and are putting in new brick sidewalks out by pool so can hear saws all morning. Miserable to keep doors open to feel breeze and hear ocean. I understand things being slow during pandemic and trying to cut corners but the hotel was very busy and this is no way to keep people coming back. We come at least once or twice a year and with the prices they charge, and the services that are not provided we will not be staying here unless they do some major cleaning and renovations.

We had Amazing and speedy service every drink came to us cold and not melted daniel was patient and kind while we decided what to drink would definitely recommend working with Daniel on the beach 😊😊😊

Guilianno was the best server on the beach. We rented a day bed for $125 and it was worth every cent. Very relaxing and great attentive service. He also gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and bars.

The location of this hotel is really nice, and the beach is beautiful. The hotel pools were huge and great. The lobby is pretty. Our room was kind of small, and the mattress was terribly so that you would roll to the middle from both sides, and it would make a lot of creaking noises. Not a fan for $400. I don’t know if it was COVID or short staffing, but there were always room service dishes piled outside room doors, for over a day.
