Horrible. My husband stayed here during storm. Horrible smell of mold and smoke. Lights had shorts in them. Beds washcloths dirty. Questionable spots in bath tub. Sketchy people. Couldn't use heater, because horrible smell coming out of it. Would sleep in car before going back.

The Red Roof Inn in Middleburg Heights is clean, quiet, and has excellent service! Christine at the front desk really helped us out and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. She deserves a raise!

After reading the other reviews, I thought we’d give it a try. We arrived really late due to delayed flights and stormy weather so basically we were there about six hours. If you just need a place to sleep, with no frills, this fits the bill. No breakfast is offered, not even pre-wrapped granola bars. There was not a trash can in the room. Two shrink-wrapped plastic drinking glasses were provided but there were also two unwrapped plastic glasses stacked inside the wrapped glasses. I assumed because they had had the shrink wrap removed, they were contaminated. The king sized bed was fine but the pillows were hard and not comfortable to sleep on at all. The bathroom is large and seemed to be clean. The sink is located in the room, not in the bathroom. The towels were soft and clean. I saw several signs announcing this was a 100% Smoke Free Facility. Maybe it is now, but the lingering cigarette odor led me to think otherwise.

Okay stay if you aren’t bothered by much

The person who checked us in was high out of his mind, the lobby reeked of pot, and the guy couldn’t even tell me which side of the building my room was located on. People were smoking cigarettes right by the entrances and there was no way to get around it. The lobby had torn carpet and looked pretty rough. The room was fairly clean but the pillows were small and flat. My husband needs to sleep sitting up due to a kidney disease but the front office had no spare pillows to offer. There were also only two very small towels of low quality. I stay at red roof often because of the ability to bring our dog, which I appreciate, but this one lacked any sort of customer service.

We had a very nice stay here. Joanna made the check-in process quick and easy. Very professional and polite. Our room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely choose this location again. Thank you Joanna!
