Nice place to stay, but....

My family of four stayed in a double queen room for two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The gentleman who check us in was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, however, there were a few things that could have made it better. My main complaint would be the cleanliness of the room. There was a tic tac on the floor by the night stand and a large clump of hair on the floor of the bathroom near the toilet. There was also a puddle of water under the sink whenever the faucet was used. Although these aren’t anything major, it makes one wonder what else was missed/skipped over. Also, it was concerning that the coffee maker and supplies were in the bathroom. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t use one that was in a hotel bathroom. Second, we were disappointed that the pool was “under construction”. Our children were planning to swim after we returned from our family get together. I wish this would have been brought to our attention prior to check in. We did take advantage of the breakfast one of the mornings during our stay. There was a good selection of food and the lady working the area was constantly checking food levels and bringing out necessary items. I would probably stay here again since it’s a convenient location and overall it’s a nice hotel.

The pool is currently under construction. Our room there was dried tooth paste in the sink and some trash left between the sink and wall from people before us. They I am sure are short staffed so we didn’t mention it to the staff. I cleaned everything down and picked up the trash. The staff are all very kind and the breakfast is absolutely amazing! We had omelettes.

Perfect for our needs

Did an overnight here as we were looking for something halfway between Milwaukee and Cleveland and this was an idea location. Checked in online so we had the room ready to go. No digital key however. Wife and I slept very well in our studio suite and it was very quite. Wifi was a little on the slower side but was fine. Full breakfast options with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. Very friendly lady overseeing the breakfast. She did a fantastic job keeping up! Would definitely return if in the area.

Staff easily accommodated my requirement for an additional night stay. The complimentary breakfast was superb, especially as to different menu on different days. Prepared hot food was excellent. Was pleasantly surprised!

Upon arrival, we were told the pool was still being remodeled, a month after our last stay where it was still being remodeled, kinda stinks. Got to the room, crumbs on the floor and pee/toilet paper left in the toilet…
