Hotel Sunflower

The breakfast was very good although most of the menu stayed the same during our stay. The staff were very accommodating. The bed was very firm, so for those who prefer a softer mattress, it may be challenging. The housekeeping staff did give us extra pillows, which helped. One challenge I had was that due to being there for business, I could not get a copy of a daily bill. This may make being reimbursed challenging. We will see. The hotel has lovely retro feel throughout.

My first floor room was simple, clean, properly equipped, comfortable, and “balconeed.” While the balcony was not necessarily a huge value add during miserable fall days, the ability to open the doors to fresh air was and is priceless.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room had a king bed and a single rollaway bed, was kind of disappointed with the rollaway as it was literally floor level. The room had a small balcony which was a nice touch. It is also equipped with a tv where you can change the language to English and a mini fridge, also an area to store your clothes and suitcases. The bathroom was good stocked with soaps shower gels and shampoos. We arrived here after our check in time so we got checked in straight away and was told the way to our room. The room lock was a little stuck but we managed in the end. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was to a good standard including savouries and sweets (more sweet though) However the AC did not work so we slept with the balcony door open. We forgot to ask at reception every time we went down so we compromised and had the door open instead. The hotel is a short bus ride from Milan centrale station. And it is a short walk to Milan nord bovisa train station which has a train that goes directly to Milan Malpensa airport. So that was extremely handy. The nearest supermarket is quite a walk away and I wouldn’t recommend it as the roads were quite scary when it was dark. There is a small little convenience store where you can purchase public travel tickets from. Overall a good hotel, pleasant stay, nice staff, good breakfast and in a good enough location.

The place is okay. The facilities is good as well. Good breakfast. There was a girl at the reception no prepared to receive the guests friendly. She acts like we need a favor from her. Stupid. Never go back.

A very nice hotel with very comfortable room. The room has all the required facilities like fridge, TV and bath accessories. The room rent includes breakfast and the breakfast is fabulous. The best complimentary breakfast that we have had in Europe till now. The staff are courteous and friendly. The hotel is one that I can recommend to anyone without a doubt.
