We were going to the Oakland Arena to see Paul McCartney. The location was perfect for my needs. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was nice. Over all nothing special but it fit my needs. I would stay here again if I'm ever in Milpitas again.

The hotel rooms are newly renovated and remodeled. I like it so much as it is very modern looking. Exceptional service by the cleaning and food service crew. I forgot the name of the cleaning staff during the breakfast buffet, he was so kind and helpful!!! I appreciate the staff so much!!!

I stayed here a few years ago and the whole place was very run down and depressing. It has now been completely upgraded with mostly new(er) furniture, paint, carpets and decorations. Does not feel dingy anymore. BUT - There are still some issues with this property. 1) Room temperature. You can not control the temp in your room. I set my thermostat to 65. A blower (not cool) would come on periodically (and noisily) but the room never cooled off much. They give you a paper on check in that tells you that the whole building is either on heat or cool. I guess since it is February I am not allowed to use the air conditioner. Second night I opened the sliding door to try to get some night air to cool off. 2) Food - Breakfast was just ok. Bananas, apples, white or wheat toast, muffins, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, made to order omelets, juices and coffee. I observed at least one child having a melt down over no cold cereal. Personally, I would have preferred cold cereal too but made do. Most people will find something to eat. 3) Restaurant - Embassy Suites is known for their afternoon reception. Not happening here. Also on their website is a big ad for their restaurant Taste. Right now it basically doesn't exist but there was no way to find that out beforehand unless I called. I just believed the website that we would have a place there for dinner. This also means no room service as advertised on the website. 4) Noise - During the evening while in my room every once in a while I would hear a very high pitched squeal. It would go on maybe 15 to 20 seconds (sometimes more, sometimes less). At first I thought it was kids testing the echo in the huge atrium. Now I think that there may be negative pressure in the indoor pool and if someone leaves the door partially open it creates a vacuum, hence the noise. It definitely should be looked into. Overall I would stay here again. But be prepared to go out to eat.

it was an enjoyable and good stay, would go again. wish there was a way to connect an x box though to watch Netflix. was expensive but it was a fun experience and no other complaints. clean ans well maintained room.

Everything was great except they should have a key after hours so when you leave something and people can pick it up Housekeeping should have a list on what’s in the lost and found so the front desk has access.
