I had stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The location of the hotel is good. The room rate did not include breakfast. But the hotel has a restaurant which is highly recommended for all meals. the hotel has a fitness center and laundry also. I was provided with microwave on request for no extra cost. I would advise the hotel to have more lighting in the rooms, sometimes i felt it was a bit gloomy even with all lights on.

There’s strong competition for your lodging dollar, both in this geographical area and at this price point. This HI delivers a great experience overall, and for me it stands above other options I’ve experienced in the area. It’s the newness of the property, sure. But the staff seem super-focused on keeping this place nice: I literally can’t think of a time, when I was entering or exiting the building, that I didn’t see someone working on maintaining the property in some way. Not in an intrusive way—just cleaning, replacing/refreshing supplies, bussing tables at the restaurant promptly… caring, in short. I like that. I should mention the exceptional comfort of the bed in my room. I stayed at a five-star hotel in SF the night after my stay here, and the bed there was worse by a lot. Surprisingly comfortable at any price point. So now we have to talk about the smell. Outside, I mean. Milpitas is notorious for it (a quick Google search will deliver shocking and often hilarious results). And yes, it’s noticeable outdoors: a distinct aroma of sewage. Inside the property, though, you won’t encounter it. Any hotel in this area has to deal with this issue, and the HI handles it as well as can be expected. I’m not docking them a point for this, as it isn’t their fault and it isn’t an issue once you’re inside. Other aspects of this hotel stay were as expected: amenities, room features (the in-room mini-fridge was a terrific touch), good climate control, etc. Parking is $9, which may be a surprise if you’re visiting from a smaller place. Recommended, especially if you’re not super-sensitive to that outside odor.

Pretty new hotel close to San Jose airport. Has everything you'd expect from a new HI, friendly staff, plenty of parking and comfortable rooms. One star removed for the bizarrely low bar over the shower enclosure which I smacked my head on.

Staff was very friendly and attentive! Hotel room is great- bed very comfortable , clean and well maintained. Room service was excellent- food was great I highly recommend this IHG property (hotel) ! Perfect stay for San Jose - convenient and close to all your needs!

I thought the hotel was nice, clean and spacious . The service was great and the staff was accommodating. The hotel is located near 880 and in Milpitas so if you have business in that area it would be a great place to stay. The are restaurants nearby in Milpitas Blvd and McCarthy Ranch 5-10 minutes driving time.
