More about the hotel
Enjoy nature
Hotel is comfortable, people very kind. You can enjoy nature and forget about internet connection. It is great for spending a weekend. There is a restaurant where food is good or you can also drive to downtown to find some small restaurants. If you need to have wi fi during all your stay, this hotel is not an option. Even there is connection in some areas, since you are near mountains, it is not stable. In my case, it was a relief and exactly what I was looking for.
Beautiful nature
Hotel smells mouldy, could be understandable because building is old and located in e very humid nature. Me and my husband wanted to book a room online, on their website it just appeared available rooms with two double beds and more, so out of no choice, we chose one of those rooms with two double beds, when we got there in Monday, we found out there are almost no customers or at least few, why rooms were not available then? In our room it was just one bottle of water in bathroom!!! Yes of course tv, closets, chairs...
So sad
Village is small and oh So nice. Nice people, good coffeebar and restaurant. But on the otherhand the Hotel is on the mountain, very outdated, curtains torn, carpet worn and dirty . Bloodstains on bathroom wall. No breakfast. Smelled old and yucky. Disapointed. Receptionist did not speak English. No internet. Never again. Location is the one thing which is good, the only thing.
Beautiful property, hotel needs updating
This hotel has a beautiful property and decent rooms but is in desperate need of updating. The carpet is particularly old and the rooms have no internet. But it's a nice option in the area if looking for a hotel because there aren't many.
Not a quiet hotel for nature lovers
I just stayed two nights (Friday and Saturday) at this hotel with my husband and young son. Our idea was to escape noisy Mexico City (where we live), walk in the woods during the day and sleep listening to the sounds of nature. But as we soon realized, this hotel is located in a protected national park but is focused at organizing social events. There was a first communion that went on all Saturday long, with loud music and an invited rock group at night. Although the event was over at 8 p.m., the employees themselves put loud music until 10 p.m. while cleaning the site, the girl at the front desk ignoring our request for some silence so that we could make a fire outside with our son. We felt disrespected and will not go back to this hotel.
