Repeat guests here
Hard working staff and accommodating. Always clean and reliable. Nice to have an actual hard wired Ethernet port at the desk for internet in addition to WiFi. SUGGESTION: Could use simple hot breakfast items "to go" that wouldn't create a gathering in the lobby. Breakfast tacos (tortilla wrapped diced potato/onion, scrambled eggs, bacon/bacon, sprinkle of cheese wrapped in deli paper sheets showing which are which) kept in a warmer near the coffee would really set the breakfast scene on fire and translate into an occupancy uptick. Stayed here numerous times over the past 3 years and will continue to do so.
My production company booking
I had no problems with checking. It seemed like every time I went through the lobby something was being cleaned. My company has strict protocols about COVID-19 and this place went above and beyond to ensure this. Staff was courteous and friendly, just what you'd want in a home away from home. I even heard my doorknob jiggle so I got up to check and turns out the staff was spraying them with disinfectant. And I've stayed at other hotels that cost twice this and half as less service. If you have to stay anywhere in Mineral Wells, Days Inn & Suites is where you should.
Amazing comfort
The rooms is comfy. I sleep like a baby. Pillows are plenty and wonderful. The AC/Heat always works well. The desk space is large and functional though internet is bad. Totally worth the stay and a bargain for sure.
WORTH THE DETOUR
We didn't want to go into Ft Worth and even with a 10 mile on/off this looked like a better value than anything in Weatherford. Days Inns are not what they use to be but this one was worthy of a mid range comparison. For a budget model it is a solid 5. Very personable check in and same lady was also at check out. Our room was a std king but it had a high toilet, a +. Freezer in refrig, very clean, safe location on outskirts of town. Pillows were to high for me but I had brought my own MY PILLOW pillow. Great stay in a smaller town - worth the detour from Interstate 20.
Overnight Stay
We were there overnight and it was good. The room was nice and clean. Because of Covid-19 they served a sack breakfast comprised of an apple, bottle of water and granola bar which was okay. Check in and out was easy and pleasant.
