Bugs in room, bath tub didn't plug up, USB ports didnt work. Air conditioning unit was missing buttons so only cool air came out. And white socks turned black after just a night of walking on the carpet.

BED BUGS ROOM 103 if not the whole building

The first night was the worst! I woke up at 6am and I was cover with bed bug. Over 100 bites. I will never stay hear again. Room 103 is infested with bed bugs... No compensation for the matter. Not even we are sorry for the inconvenience.. I'm still covered with 100 bite marks from Best Western Seven Seas San Diego, California,... The worst ever...

We stayed at this hotel and was extremely please. Rooms were clean, comfortable, & convenient. Staff was amazing and we were well pleased. Location was ideal for all our travel plans. We would recommend !!

Nice people at check-in. Room was clean and there was no freeway noise. Very pretty landscaping giving the property "island" feel. Would stay here again. Good access to downtown, zoo, I-8 east and west.

Sold our room

We arrived with 11 people after booking our hotel stay weeks before our arrival. The hotel was not sold out at the time of booking and we booked 3 double bed rooms. Upon arrival, we were told we had been moved to King beds, with no pull out options! The response from the manager was there was nothing they could do for us, they had oversold. We booked through Fed Rooms at a rate of $79. There only offer to our party was the King room and told to sleep our party on the floor. This was not going to accommodate the 9 adults that needed a bed. I asked why we were not contacted prior to this decision being made for us and he had no answer other than they oversold. Who determines who gets moved? I asked what they were going to do to help us move or cover the costs of paying for what was now a sold out weekend due to the marathon in town...his answer was "nothing". We spent an hour and a half outside at 7pm desperately searching for a place to stay. We had to pay double the cost with no help from the manager, other than his suggestion on a post it note of "The pleasant inn. As a previous GM of a Marriott Property, I find this utterly appalling. This is not how you treat your guests! This manager held no accountability for his actions and was completely unapologetic for putting out a family traveling with limited options. I stood in the office while they continued to check people in and at least 2 of the parties were double beds! I was a guest standing in front of him before these people ever walked into the hotel and the manager and two desk agents continued to overlook us. You have a responsibility to take care of the guest in front of you! As a manager, YOU moved us! This was of no fault of ours and you refused to take care of our guest needs! You acted as if your solution to put us in a King was a good enough answer! Most people who book doubles, need doubles! Your so called "offer" of another room type is unacceptable. We consented to nothing! You had zero professionalism or integrity! You should have stopped and come out from behind our wall and helped us until we had a solution! We should have been a priority! The second you moved us, we should have had a phone call, email or something! You should have had solution or at least options! Best Western should know of your incompetence and highly consider finding new management to represent their brand!
