Not worth the price

This hotel was not worth the price paid. First, we never received a hot cookie upon arrival and I had to request the crib a second time after I wrote it on the special instructions when booking the reservation. Secondly, I had to pay for a mini fridge per night even though online it says mini fridges are in the rooms. Thirdly, ice machines and vending machines are on every other floor.. really annoying and obvious that some property manager or owner is cheap. The doors to outside lounging area were unlocked on way out, but locked to come in. I had to circle around the property to get back in. And lastly you have to pay separately for breakfast. I’d understand if I was staying at a fancier hotel, but this was not it.

My wife and I came to San Diego to see our Granddaughter who is a sophomore at OLP High School. We got to see her also play and win a varsity basketball game and play 1 round of golf with her. The Double Tree make our trip made the trip so much more enjoyable.

Staff never greeted me … was not offered anything , rooms towels wet dirty , hair in sink and counter top terrible view from room or should I say wall view ! Next to elevator very noisy , as a gold member I would expect much more I travel to San Diego one week a month for business will not be staying at this hotel again !!!!

Horrible experience. No fridge, and not many food options near the hotel so even when I ordered food I could not store anything. Internet didn’t work, and I was not given my code when I checked in for the conference. When I tried to connect to the internet it took an hour and a half on the phone with customer service to transfer me from the regular internet to the premium. This would have been avoided if I would have been given the code at check in. The shower was rusting. Bath did not drain well and would fill up when showering Unusual Red Stain on curtain Unknown used wipe on soap dispenser. I got stuck in the elevator for 2 minutes and I couldn’t get out. When I called the help button the person who answered didn’t care. You don't clean my room for my “convenience” but then if I want it clean I have to schedule it 24 hours in advance or I was told it may not happen. This is a hotel, you are not doing me a favor when I ask to have my room cleaned. I could hear the rooms next to me literally at all times of the day, from screaming kids to people stomping above me.

I booked this hotel based off their website. Looked NOTHING like the pictures online. The bathroom was dirty, they assigned me to the wrong room and I paid to upgrade and the room wasn’t even much of a difference. Drains were completely clogged. I would never recommend anyone to book here!
