My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very accommodating to ours needs. Clean rooms. There are lots of options in there lobby for purchase if you forgot to pack something or need a drink or snack. Outstanding customer service given by Midge! Would highly recommend!

If you are looking to stay in Mission Valley, please pick this hotel. I have stayed here over 10 times in the last year and have had the best service. I travel a lot and this hotel cares about their guests and the service they provide. The rooms are always clean and they have the best front desk staff in the business. They are impeccably trained to provide you the best service. There have been a few occasions where I've had to ask for help and they are always open and willing. If you like "my pleasure" Chik Fil A service with a smile, then this is the place for you. The rooms are new and remodeled. The location is fantastic to all that there is to see in San Diego and all rooms have balconies. I want to acknowledge KIMBERLY and SHANNON today. I had a zoom interview today and was super stressed. They got me into my room quickly and I was able to complete my Zoom meeting on time because of them. This property rocks! Don't stay anywhere else in Mission Valley.

For a quick, spur-of-the-moment family trip, the Marriott proved ideal! The staff was outstanding! I had several chats on the Bonvoy app and each time, recurved a quick, affirmative response! Very accommodating. Check in was friendly and done delightfully. The rooms are efficient and clean. Very comfortable beds. There were electrical outlets on one side of the bed and a tiny round table lamp on the other. No outlet?!? Behind the table, tucked away behind a loosened panel, was a power strip! Just what I needed! The location near QualCom is convenient and it is such a good value!
Summer Business Trip

We stayed here for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the resort feel of the property. As a titanium elite member, we were upgraded to a hospitality suite which allowed us to work remotely without distraction in separate rooms. The setting near the pool with cabanas was very relaxing. We worked on our laptops in the cabanas and also swam in the pool during our breaks. The breakfast was great and the views overlooking the pool were lovely. The hotel staff were very pleasant. Some suggestions would be to improve WiFi access in the cabanas and also keep the bar open in the afternoons instead of waiting until dinner to reopen. We will return here when we’re in the area.
Overpaid For What We Got

We paid a lot of money for what we got. When we first checked in the line was super long, which we were expecting since we got there at the check-in hour. What we were not expecting was having to wait in a very long line for the elevators. They have three elevators but only two were working. We thought it would get better once the check-in rush stopped, but no, it was the same issue the whole weekend. Once we got to our room we inspected it to make sure it was ok. Well it wasn’t. There was a dirty towel on the balcony and stains on the shower floor. I went downstairs and they were accommodating and moved us to another room. The other room was ok upon initial inspection. It wasn’t until later that we noticed the really loud A/C. Every time it would turn on and off it made a loud rattling noise. We tried to set it to stay on but that wasn’t an option. Our room was not cleaned the next morning and we ran out of toilet paper. They didn’t have an extra roll in the restroom. I had to call to get some. When I called I was on hold for like 5 minutes. We got a knock on our door & they tried to deliver pillows instead of toilet paper. So we had to wait longer for it. We also found a bug, not sure what kind, in the couch which we got rid of. Other issues: the ice machine was not working, the pool restrooms were disgusting. I get the water on the floor but there was no toilet seat covers, paper on the floor, & only one stall had toilet paper. There was vomit near the pool as well.
