More about the hotel
Bad all around, rude, dirty
Rude staff upon checking in, I had to ask the man at the front desk to put on a mask, he rolled his eyes and put it on, leaving his nose exposed and then within 1 minute he had it under his chin leaving his mouth and nose exposed. He was rude and seems annoyed that I was checking in. The hotel was run down, several rooms were under construction and there was debris in the halls. Our door didn’t lock when closed and the clerk was very rude about it, after slamming the door shut, using his shoulder to forcibly close it, he said, “see? It’s fine.” We decided to deadbolt the door from the inside and not leave the room. 4am the fire alarm goes off staff was nowhere to be found. When I did track down the front desk clerk she seemed confused and unapologetic. Even though we were planning to leave later in the morning we packed up and left in the dark. Don’t stay here, you’ll regret it.
Poor experience
We have been traveling and staying at BW this was the worst! Old decor, room smelled bad, smelled smoke overnight. Staff looked like they walked in from hanging out at home very unprofessional! Breakfast was a sack Togo after filling out a piece of paper with no hot or healthy options. I don’t recommend this hotel. Try the next BW our other stays this trip have been good -great.
Great place to stay.
Our room was spacious and wonderful. Very comfortable and warm. The people that worked there were nice and accommodating. I can't think of a thing to complain about. I booked online but had a question so called to get the answer. Nice lady answered the phone.
Friendly staff and clean facility
The hotel was very clean throughout. We were greeted immediately by the young lady at the front desk and she was very helpful with all of our questions. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We spent two days in St. Louis and it was only a 17 minute drive to downtown from the hotel. Well worth the $30 we saved by staying out of the downtown area. We enjoyed this hotel!
A quick one night stay
We stayed in the Best Western in St. Louis (the one closest to the center of the city). We were in room 235, which was a largish handicap room. It had 2 queen beds, TV, A/C, microwave, small fridge with no freezer compartment, an ironing board but no iron, but there was a safe. The bathroom had only a shower, but the sink was in the bathroom, unlike several other Best Westerns we had recently stayed in. There was no coffee maker in the room.
