Not at true glamping experience

Campgrounds are right off the highway, expect traffic noise from 5am to midnight. We stayed in a safari tent with the shared bathroom. The tent door opened toward the path and there was a tent directly across from us. You can sit on your “porch” and stare at your neighbor’s tent, if you like. The tents are on wood platforms, but not raised off the ground. Our tent platform creaked every time we stepped on it and it felt like it wasn’t level. One side being lower which made our feet higher than our head when in bed. The king size bed was comfortable and bedding was soft. The nights were cold on our stay and we had a wood burning stove to use. It was a small stove so we were up every couple of hours to start it again. The communal bathrooms were clean, plenty of towels available. The lighting was horrible. Maybe one fixture, which would start kind of bright then dim to an energy saving mode, then back to bright, then dim, on and on. I attempted one shower which started warm, long enough to lather up, then it turned freezing cold and stayed that way. My husband was in the shower with the pull cord that would shut off after a minute. He said it was very hot, almost scalding. Honestly I’ve stayed at campgrounds with better bathrooms. And then there’s the communal fire pit and grill area. We didn’t partake in any of that biz. We went to town for dinner and came back to our tent. And during the day we went site-seeing and weren’t at the campground. Basically it was a tent hotel room that was very cold, though comfy bed, with crappy bathrooms. UC is all about being green and saving energy and the earth, which is good and fine, but don’t charge me a “glamping” price for primitive camping amenities.
Camp is Located by the Highway

We love glamping and encourage everyone to try it. However, this is not the property to glamp if what you are looking for is a peaceful place close to nature. The property is right on the highway, so you hear the semi-trucks all night long very loud--no sleep, no rest; therefore, the price for the experience is way too high, and this is not the glamping location for you. If you don't care about the noise/lack of sleep and you have the money to splurge then, keep reading. The camp is well kept and beautiful. It has lots of places to hang out, firepits, gas grills, live music, and a nice sitting area in the reception, which has water, coffee, snacks, fruit. We stayed in the tent with a shared bathhouse, and it was clean. We really liked the fireplace in our tent with real firewood. The bed was crazy comfortable. They only clean/make your tent upon request, so make sure you tell them to clean it up while you are out. We did run out of hot water a couple of times while showering, but once we called the reception, they came and fixed it.
Amazing Camping Experience / Highly Recommend

I'm not super into "roughing" it, but this is as comfortable as camping can get! We got a deluxe tent so that we had our own toilet and shower, and it was way better than I expected. The bed was very comfortable, and there were sufficient blankets for the chilly October nights. However, what really made the experience spectacular was the entire Under Canvas team. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and had such positive attitudes! The whole team seemed happy to be there which made the experience even more enjoyable. Also, they provided a lot of complimentary snacks, drinks, and evening entertainment so you didn't feel like you were getting nickel and dimed. You can't beat free s'mores. We had one small issue with our tent, but it was addressed quickly and efficiently. This was truly a memorable experience!

My wife and I stayed here, it is an awesome experience. We both camp and backpack regularly but the break for glamping was a fun experience. We are making plans to stay at under canvas the next time we visit a place that has one.
Vacation in Moab

This was our first stop at stays in 3 Under Canvas locations in Utah touring the national parks in the area. This site is just a few minutes from Arches and Canyonlands which was very convenient. The location is just off the highway and there is a lot of road noise audible in the tents. The wind was very strong and we had a storm the first night that made for sleepless nights. Grills are available for use but there is no restaurant on site. We picked up ready to cook items in Moab and grilled each night. Fortunately we got dinner ready early the first night before the storm rolled in or we would have been hungry.
