My wife and stayed for a weekend getaway. Check in was fast and easy. Room was great. Large corner room on the 26th floor. Everything was new looking and in working order. Elevators were fast with minimal waiting. Staff was great. Bonvoy mobile app and key were perfect. Drinks at the bar were good and reasonably priced. Valet was quick and courteous. We will stay here again. Close to everything and easy to get to.

Friends Getaway in Mobile!

Wow! All I can say is WOW! I read the TripAdvisor reviews and was concerned this place might not meet my standards. However, I’m pleased to report it far exceeded anything I expected! This establishment was clean, well managed, in a great location, and very comfortable for a night stay! The Location: Located in the heart of Downtown Mobile, you are in walking distance to lots of attractions and dining. We always felt safe, and parking was in a garage under the hotel that was always easy to find. It was $16 per day for self park, or you can also valet for a higher price. Cleanliness: Our room was like new. We requested a high floor and was granted a room on the 26th floor with a beautiful view of the city. It had recently been remodeled and all of the furnishings were so nice and clean. The beds were fantastic, and the room had a very large smart TV that allowed connection to Netflix and other streaming services. Our room was spotless and cleaned from top to bottom. The Service: I utilized online check in due to COVID, and the app worked fantastically! I was able to use it for my room key, as well as, making a request for an additional blanket that was brought up in 10 minutes! Everyone I spoke to or asked a question of was so friendly! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any of my closest friends and family, and I myself will be returning soon!

Great central location with a view

Great central location overlooking the river/bay. One block to Dauphin St where evening food/music scene is. Lobby is undergoing some renovation. Staff was great. We were traveling cross country with a loaded jeep, no top. Valet service offered to watch our jeep overnight so we didn’t have to unpack everything to our room.

Memorial Weekend

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions but this time we ran into some concerns. We called the hotel to make reservations for 2 rooms weeks in advance. Upon arrival we were assigned incorrect types of room. It took three times before we received the correct type of room we requested. The other concern we have is, whomever was in the room between our two rooms appears to have been smoking marijuana as the smell was horrible 2 of the 3 nights we stayed at the hotel. We advised the front desk and housecleaning of the issue but it appears nothing was done to fix the issue. We will be back as we enjoy this hotel but hope we don't run into the same concerns on our next visit.

Second review still bad

So someone responded from management and wanted to talk to me BUT left no contact information. Sadly PCH cannot know how bad this is or they simply don’t care. No help anywhere! We were told today that a large group was checking in. Hmmm no groups here. The management we have seen walking the halls seem to only walk the halls. PCH has to be better than this they own amazing properties. BTW Covid didn’t cause this nor add to it. I tried to add photos. Have them will provide.
