Night manager could not fix one of the lights in our room so he promised us a $5 discount at check out for the inconvenience. The morning manager, however, refused to honor this saying he didn't know about it. I know it's only $5, but it's the principle of the thing. Also, bed was old and noisy. Not a bad place, just a couple of issues, but probably won't stay here again.
Stinky
Stunk like a dead body. Bed was terrible. Room appearance was nasty. Had hair in the bathtub and on floor. They did not clean the tub. The toilet still had someone else's fecal matter in it. They did not even try to put me in another room.
sewer gas in room
woke up to sewer backed up in the bath tub and sewer gas smell everywhere. Immediately left room, went down to front desk,told them what was going on in our room. The gal at the front desk said to us "I dont know what to tell you". We told them this was not right!!!, so she then offered us a 10% discount on our room,we then told her, that was not acceptable and in her unprofessional, cold as a rock voice said to us "ok I will give you 20% off....Will that make you happy?"Nothing like being slapped in the face!!!! Big whoopie, The gal at the front desk showed no concern nor care! We then pointed out to her that those sewer gas's could have harmed or killed us, still no care or concern out of her stone cold demeanor. I wonder how many others could have been harmed or killed, due to bad maintenance, poor management,unprofessionalism, and unacceptable room conditions! Run Bambi Run, if you even CONSIDER staying at this place. This place should be investigated for health violations!!!!!
Okay stay
This hotel served our needs in Helena. It was conveniently located, had a large on site parking lot and clean rooms. The staff could not have been friendlier. The sleep quality was good except that you could hear noise outside the room and next door. The breakfast was average for a smaller Wyndham hotel. If you are looking for more luxury, I would look elsewhere but for our needs it was just fine.
get away
very old hotel, rooms in poor shape and need upgrading. had to go to front desk to ask for towels and glasses that should have been in the room. breakfast included was very poor. would not stay again,
