Amazing Hotel in the Historic District
The Gamma Monterrey Ancira is a wonderful hotel. The staff is amazing and always ready to assist and best of all everyone seemed to speak English, even the bellman. The rooms are nicely appointed with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The showers are strong and the water hot. I stayed on the 2nd floor and I could not believe how quiet the rooms are despite being in the middle of the historic district. The breakfast offers everything anyone could possibly want, it is delicious and best of all it is fairly priced. If you want an amazing luxury hotel with a wonderful location, free parking and well trained and helpful staff look now further. I look forward to staying at the Gamma Monterrey Ancira on my next trip to Monterrey.
Great stay and awesome staff!
The staff were very polite and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. Valet parking was great. The hotel was very affordable. It was right in downtown, El Centro, of Monterrey. I will definitely be coming back with my partner and will be recommending this hotel to others. Thank you.
Enjoyable visit
A very nice old hotel from about 2007 in the heart of Monterrey! We stopped here for five days, went to Garcías Caverns and toured the area with our taxi driver! Had a nice time at Horsetail Falls and the little town of Santiago. Found several 3:00 lunch/dinner GOOD Mexican restaurants near the hotel and a quaint bar in the hotel! Super fun visit!
Weekend trip
This is my second time staying and as always a great experience. Service was good, hotel was clean, and food was great. I only have one small complaint. Me and my husband like a colder room and the temperature to the room would not get any colder. When we called the front desk they sent someone and we were basically told that because the nights had been somewhat fresher it was controlled and that they wouldn't be able to change that. A thermostat that each room can control according to the guest like would be awesome. Otherwise beds were comfortable and my stay was overall good.
Monterrey weekend visit
Dirty, outdated rooms. Very uncomfortable mattresses in rooms. Staff at front desk were very nice but horrible inefficient. Bartender was nice but the bar felt depressing and lonely. Great breakfast buffet
