Treated like a dog
I stayed at this place quite a few times, but last week during Hurricane Sally was my LAST time staying there. I prepaid for two nights and while I was at work on the second day, my personal belongings were ransacked thru and put in a garbage bag by hotel staff. They claim that they mistook me for a guest who had been banned from the hotel. They didn't even do their research before they did this hideous act to me on that bad weather. They "apololied" fo r the incident but it was unacceptable. I emailed the manager Ray P. and he straight ignored me. I'm assuming that he agrees with such behavior. I wouldn't suggest a dog to stay here! These are evilhearted individuals that run this place. !
Staff
Let me start by saying I usually don’t give reviews at all but I had to say something on April 12th, 2019. I stayed here cause I was attending a reunion in Wetumpka, Al everything was sold out so this was my only choice. So let me begin I arrived late so had to email my card info and id to the hotel red flag !!! As I arrived I noticed a large group of men gathered in the hotel parking lot drinking and very loud the parking lot was full. I literally had nowhere to park so I was told by hotel staff to park parallel next to the curb. So as I’m gathering my belongings from my car the group of men started whistling at me I proceeded to enter the building. As I got the room I noticed I forgot my charger in the car so I had to go back outside to my vehicle . So as I’m about to enter the building again one of the men approached me and I quote “ Where you’re man at” where you from? I was very uncomfortable at this point I told him a lie and proceeded into the building... I stayed in the remaining of the night... Fast forward to my departure time and arrive back home. I receive an email saying I paid the general Auto Insurance remind you I don’t have the general for auto insurance. So I call my bank and spoke with them and the representative tells me the charge came from Alabama Let’s Go Back Remember i emailed my card info someone from this hotel used my card to pay their car insurance I reported it as fraud closed my account and writing this review to let you guys know STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM Indecent establishment
We put the U in Quality (after it nearly fell off the wall).
First: * Rewards Points were used for my stay. Thanks, Choice! You know how first impressions can impact an entire experience? Thankfully, my stay far exceeded my initial observation. Please check photos for explanation. After driving 500+ miles, I wanted nothing more than a clean, quiet place to decompress for the evening. When the desk clerk politely welcomed me, I questioned the position of the U on the wall. He put it back in place, explaining that it needed more glue. Registration was quickly efficient. Ya think? But, except for minor things (had to go upstairs onto the smoking floor for ice,, patrons had to wait while frozen sausage patties and eggs were microwaved, and waffle batter was mixed in the sink next to the coffee & juice machines), this hotel was satisfactory. I would return.
One of the actual Quality Inn
That isn't a meth lab. My company uses Quality Inn for travel and I have been placed in some of the crappiest, loudest, meth lab looking hotels. Especially around the Montgomery Alabama area. Greenville, Troy, buy I must say this one is a nice comfortable, quiet hotel. Lots of choices to eat, no one screaming in the halls, easy interstate access. While I would still avoid Quality Inn's if I could, this is one of the nice ones.
Not to bad but things could be cleaner.
The front desk guy tonight charge me an extra .98 cents more than what my online reservation said. The shower curtain needs to be clean. You can tell this hotel don't clean their top cover/ comforter. They only had one tissue roll and it was low.
