Experiencia poco agradable
Price for travelers
Very nice hotel with space, cleen sheets, the room is very affordable, about 50 euros for a solo traveler. “Cheaper” for couples. The space is very quiet but absolutely no food services. The town is beautiful. The train station saint roch is really closeby.
Best 'continental' breakfast ever!
Because of an early train departure next day, and with no great expectations, we decided to stay near the railway station, and Les Alizes was the closest. The room was small, but there was minimal noise pollution. The biggest surprise of our stay was the amazing breakfast, served in the room. A truly comprehensive meal - fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, and coffee. Easily the best 'continental' breakfast we have had anywhere.
Would never go back
We picked this hotel last minute, because of it's location next to the train station, near the trams and the centre of Montpellier. The reason for our stay was a concert in the Parc & Suites Arena. Immediately, we saw that the room was way overpriced (but we had to pay on arrival, without seeing it first): it was small and out-dated. But at least it seemed neat. Until you had a closer look. The bath tub and a little rack in the bath room were filthy, there seemed to be mold on the floor, the pipes were exposed,... But the worst were the blood stains on the bed sheets. To top it all: a window didn't close and the lights fell out. There was also a lot of noise in the morning and the entrance hall was messy. Last but not least: between midnight and 5am there was absolutely no way to get in the hotel. Had the concert lasted too long, we would have been in serious trouble. Bottom line: there are plenty of hotels in Montpellier with a good location, don't pick this one.
Don't go there
Because of a rugby match in town that night, almost every hotel was already full, so we ended up here. Hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. About E15 over the average for that standard of hotel, it's dirty and STINKS of smoke. I also heard mice running around in the night.
