Online it looks OK, live it is different. Instead of writing a lot, I decided to share some pictures I took in my Room: just dirty and ugly. Never again, it is the worst place I have ever been in Paris. Shame on the owners!
Not recommended
Good location - the only positive. Room (especially bathroom) and other spaces were not wery clean, breakfest without fruit or vegetable and the same every single day. No safe for the valuables in the room or reception. Maybe the price correspond this quality in Paris but I would never give 3* to this hotel.
Close to metro
Small room the duvet was quite old the mattress was new it says on website there is a safe in the room but we couldn’t find it It’s in a good location close to metro tram and local bus the garage it’s in the front of the hotel under a large block of flats and it’s never looked I had the car there for four days it was ok but it didn’t look safe and the hotel it’s not responsible if something happens
Bed Bug Infested
Beware of this hotel! I stayed here from Aug 9th to Aug 12th to celebrate my daughter’s 12th birthday in Paris. To our dismay upon returning home we noticed little bumps all over our skin. These bumps rapidly turned itchy and eventually developed into welts. It turns out that we were bitten by bed bugs at this hotel. They were not visible during they day but the certainly came out from under the mattress at night unbeknownst to us. It was a terrible experience that lasted for days and it costs us doctors visits and medicine usage. To make things worse when we informed the hotel we were told by an employee there that they were aware of the problem and were working on it. Meanwhile they continued to and still are booking guests there. They offered no form of compensation and merely referred us back to our booking agent Groupon International Travel to deal with the problem. Groupon decided to give us a €50 euro credit which is ridiculously low and offers no compensation. We are now left with physical scarring and emotional scarring. Do not stay here!
Cheap but definitely not cheerful!
Stayed for one night at the Hotel Arc Paris Porte D'Orleans and that was quiet enough. Didn't book it myself so hadn't seen it before I arrived. This is a budget hotel that is in serious need of some TLC. Rooms are small and dingy, the only food and drink available was a half empty vending machine. Location is also poor and it's on a main road with no air conditioning so you have a choice of window open and keep cool or window open and hear endless traffic noise. The bathroom was clean but shower was broken. The only positive was the bed was pretty comfortable. My bill was €85 for the room which is clearly cheap for Paris but this is not somewhere I wish to stay again.
