Useful Location, But Fails On Basic Comforts
It was convenient for us to stay at the Florencia Regencia Hotel as it was handy to our doctor's clinic not far away. Note that I had reconned the hotel the year before and was somewhat familiar with it. Note also that the image illustrating the hotel on this page is a different hotel. The Florencia Regency is not as new looking as that in the image. The desk clerk-bell hop is friendly and wants to help, but he didn't know which roms had king beds until he made some phone calls. To his credit, he spent a great deal of time and effort getting us the kind of room we asked for. We decided on a sencilla (one double bed) at the end of the inside parking area. This was quiet but the room, although clean, had several deficiencies. It was small, yet larger than the sencilla counterparts on the other side of the hotel. A sencilla room I looked at on the other side was so compact that one closet door wouldn't open because of the desk end blocking it. Our room was passable and the closet accessible. The two attractive bed lamps had no bulbs. But we were tired and more interested in sleep than reading. The double bed was o.k. The lav in the bathroom had a sign pleading forgiveness that there was no hot water, not even the tap, Worse, when I tried to shower, both in the evening and morming, there was no hot water. I know to be patient waiting for agua caliente in low budget Mexican hotels, but this was just not happening. (And at $550 pesos and up, this is not in my opinion, truly low budget.) We ran the ceiling fan, but the only way to keep the fan on and turn off the ceiling fan light was to climb onto a somewhat rickety chaitr to reach the too short pull chain. This is a commercial district noted for floor tiles, plumbing, and stainless steel restaurant equipment stores and not for better restaurants. The best bet for an evening meal is the Cenaduria La Lupita 1, about 3 blocks away on Calle Sanchez y Tagle. The food is very good and the prices reasonable. Try the delicious pozole. There is a hotel restaurant, with limited serving hours that we didn't try. Pluses: Clean, friendly. Convenienct to hospital and clinic district and building ,fixtures district. Free, secure parking inside. Decent wifi. Minuses: cramped rooms, inconvenient placement of furniture, no hot water on room. Limited dining options closeby. I wold probably not stay at this hotel again. I believe that the rates are too high for the value received.
Très bien
Un hôtel de bon standing avec un petit déjeuner inclus qui est de qualité. Proche d’un petit parc et non loin du centre-ville cela a tout les bons côtés de ce que l’on recherche. La chambre a un bon volume et la literie est bonne. L’hygiène est irréprochable. Très bien également pour le personnel très agréable. Petit point noir il manque une salle de sport et un sauna. Sinon rien a dire. J’y retournerai si je le peux. Gil.
No volvería
Reserven solo si es su única opción... El hotel es pequeño al igual que su estacionamiento donde caben aproximadamente 5 vehículos pequeños, si no alcanzan lugar dentro del estacionamiento deben dejar el auto afuera sobre la calle (Al parecer es seguro, no tuvimos ningún problema cuando nos toco afuera), la ubicación es buena (llevaba auto por lo tanto no me preocupe mucho por su cercanía al centro) hay muchos comercios cerca farmacias, bancos, gasolinera, etc, podría ser su único punto a favor. El check-in normal nada extraordinario pero tampoco malo, reserve 2 habitaciones las cuales son pequeñas cuentan con ventilador de techo una pequeña tv, un closet, caja fuerte y un escritorio, el baño lo cual considero lo más importante, resultó ser de lo peor, por el simple hecho de que no servía el agua caliente de la regadera... el agua era tibia, sin embargo, viaje en octubre 2018 con el clima húmedo de la ciudad por lo que no ayudaba en nada, lo reporte pero no tuve respuesta las 3 noches que me hospede tuve agua fría, no hay mucha ventilación en los baños y en uno de ellos había una araña (pequeña), la limpieza de las sabanas y almohadas no es nada grata y en general la limpieza del hotel es mala.... no lo recomiendo pero si no encuentran otra opción les diría que su único punto a favor es la ubicación.

Viaje a Morelia con mi pareja de vacaciones para ver el Pride Gay Morelia excelente atenciòn, cordial, y amable el chico de la tarde super amable y muy simpático Gracias Charly pronto regresare a hospedarme a este hotel.
Normal- mucho ruido
Fuimos a Morelia de rápido y no encontramos un solo hotel, por lo que al encontrar una habitación en este hotel y a la excelente atención y carisma del recepcionista de noche nos quedamos. El precio es de $900 las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y el ruido simplemente no te deja descansar. Se escucha lo que pasa en las otras habitaciones , afuera, en la recepción de plano no pudimos dormir. Por ese precio quizás encontrarán algo mejor. La ventaja esta relativamente cerca del centro y cuenta con un pequeño estacionamiento.
