We stayed for one night on our way home in a "chambre supérieure". We had diner in the restaurant. The hotel is located in a small charming village close to the highway. The room was superior indeed and so was the diner, accompanied by great wines. We were given many options for breakfast, and that was great again. We loved the place and, although we speak French, we noticed that the staff was fluent in English too.
Great stopover location

Super place to stop over, just a few minutes off the main motorway, but in a lovely peaceful area among the vines and close to the best of Burgundy. There is a lovely pool and great terrace. We had a superior room with a 40 percent discount. It was very spacious and had a lovely big bed and separate bathroom and toilet. So it was very comfortable. However, there was no shower and it was not a luxurious room by any stretch. I would not have been happy to pay the full price. The restaurant was lovely. Great service, beautiful food and an excellent wine list. Breakfast was a slightly odd affair with one person serving, cooking, and looking after reception. I should say she was doing a great job and managed to find time to call and tell us we had left a charger in the room.
Great place to stay

We loved it here, great room, great food in the restaurant and very welcoming relaxed staff. We travel down to my sister in laws in Provence. It is a great stop over if you are driving - they also have a EV charging point in their car park
Amazing facility in Burgundy!

Best location, building and staff for wine touring in Burgundy. Used to be the village's wine press facility. Clean spacious and quiet, with great restaurant and nice pool. Staff was very helpful in finding wineries to visit. Will definitely be back!
A haven of tranquility, lovely design and atmosphere, not enough service

We spent one afternoon and night at the Castel de tres Girard on our way towards the South of France and found the place situated in a quiet spot amongst the vineyards. A welcome haven. The atmosphere and modern design in the old buildings lived up to our expectations, only small caveat I would put is the absence of service personnel outside of restaurant hours. This is a missed business opportunity for the hotel as we saw quite a few guests looking to be served drinks or snacks through the afternoon without anyone being available. The food in the restaurant as well as the local wine offering is of superb quality and highly recommended.
