Dingy and had bugs
This property is a sad looking lower end hotel you’d only stay in if you had to. I was sick on the road home and needed to rest. When I checked in, the front desk agents barely spoke English, which isn’t an issue but I’m also partial deaf and we all had masks on. The room has a mini fridge that sounded like it’s was going to blast off. Worst part was 15 flies. Large flies. No hotel should have bugs. I left within 2 hours. When I called after leaving I was told it wasn’t their fault, and as I should had walked back down and told them so they could have went up and killed the bugs. Rude, disrespectful and worst people working there. It’s not my job to clean your property. It’s not my job to do anything when I’m there except rest. I’ve filed a complaint with Corp and the owners. I’m a Hilton person and this Quality inn was a last choice and I’ll never make the same mistake again.
Outside entry
This hotel wasn’t very crowded. And the price was pretty low. The first floor rooms had outdoor entry. I normally don’t like that but in the world of covid it means less contact with other people. A lot of truckers and bikers were there when I was in town.
Going Downhill
No recognition for being a Choice Privileges elite member, hotel rooms are dim, dingy and cramped, no counter space in tiny bathroom. Towels were stained ... There are better options for the price. Front desk staff seem to be indifferent and definitely not cordial.
Clean and Quiet.
We are members of the Choice Club, so we chose this hotel over the other brands at this exit to visit friends in Morton,IL.The breakfast was normal for Quality Inn. Rooms were quiet and nice. The Location was great.
Still a good value for the money
It's been a while since I have stayed here and it's still a nice place. The hotel is maintained and clean the bed is comfortable. The price is fantastic. Jennifer at the front desk is very nice and kind to guests. The breakfast offers a good selection and the coffee was good. We really like this place when we're traveling. We like it and recommend it.
