Very friendly, good for the price.
I live in New York and was visiting my friend in Moscow in August. I stayed 4 nights in Cron hotel. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast included. Service is fast. This hotel is much better than I expected for the price. It is not fancy but if you don’t want to spend a fortune - I recommend this place.
Calm people? Try To Avoid
when we booked this hotel we thought that our booking would be an excellent stay to remember but it turned out to be a nightmare. from the moment we checked in the environment wss not that hospitable and no communication skills . as me and my partner we always travel we like to relax in our stay. .One good thing to give credit for was the pol inside the room . as we were going to our room we found the place was so noisy bc of its location and we didnt get surprised bc we read some reviews already about it . and my nightmare was with the bedding and sheets provided . it was so dissappointing with its cleanliness . all in all . its not a place that i repeat . and for those who like a quiet time this hotel is not recommended for you . i dont recommend this hotel to anyone it was less than ok to me . but i recommend other hotels close to it . thanks

NOISE!!! Street noise and internal noise during the night! Sorry to say, but I made a mistake when booked this hotel (B&B). But the business trip was urgent and I had to be in that part of Moscow. This hotel is located approx. 10 meters from Leningradskoe Shosse (the highway routing to Sheremetievo Airport) so nothing can and will help preventing the street noise (24*7*365) coming to the room (nor double/tripple glazing, nor earplugs plus pack of pillows over your head - nothing). This is the first main, major and terrible drawback of this hotel. It spoils other good things: a clean room, rather a comfortable bed and modest breakfast still containing calories to keep you alove till you find another place to eat. The second drawback is the internal noise during the night time, I think this is because the walls are thin, and the room door lets the noise in as well. So be prepared to hear other guests in the adjacent rooms. I definetely do not advise to stay in this hotel unless there is no other place or you think a good night sleep is out of fashion (Moscow never sleeps! :-) )
Quirky but okay
In a remote but nice enough area of town, ten minute walk to Metro. Rooms were okay, not much English spoken by staff, but they are pleasant. On a noisy road, with construction currently blocking the hotel driveway.

Отель чистый, приятный, не обшарпанный. Милые девушки на ресепшен. Единственный недостаток, но очень большой - расположение. Очень далеко от центра, почти у МКАДа, до метро идти минут 15, до ближайшего продуктового - 10. И безумный шум от Ленинградки, если открыть окно - не слышно друг друга вообще. Приходилось все время держать его открытым (слава богу, был кондиционер). И в номере не было, к сожалению, ни чайника, ни холодильника.
