More about the hotel
Nice hotel with a great location!
Best hotel for its money in Moscow. Located near the subway, near a lot of shops. Rooms are clean. The only drawback is that the toilet does not have enough ventilation and smells like cigarette smoke from neighbors.
For the 2stars hotel and for the price it was quite ok
Pluses: --location (a few minutes from the metro and by metro a few stops to the center) --quiet neighborhood --a couple of shops around (and they work quite late) --clean --wifi worked ok Minuses: --no elevator so you need to carry your luggage to the 3rd floor if you are staying there (and from the entrance to the reception also) --it says that it`s Soundproofing but it`s not, you can hear everything happening in the corridor and in other rooms (and I had a special request confirmed for the quiet room) --it was too hot in the room but if you opened the window -it became cold (it was -10 outside)
"Home like" hotel
This hotel doesn't offer meals. Some may consider that as a downside, though IMHO, it is a plus. Hotel does offer fully equipped kitchen and you have a few food stores in a few minutes walk range, so you can prepare yourself anything you like. Also, you can use the washing machine and thus bring less clothes with you in your luggage. Personal is very responsive - all our requests were quickly resolved. I can't say anything about English level of the personal, as I speak Russian, but I guess it might be an issue.Small one. Hotel doesn't have an elevator, so it is not suitable for disabled people.Rooms are located at 3 levels: basement, ground level and 1-st floor. Only the basement level rooms have air conditioning but are less attractive to stay in (based on 1 room experience). We stayed in 2 different family rooms located in 1-st floor, and were pleased with both. Hotel offers frequent client card, which should provide a discount for you and your referents (My number is 744 BTW :-) ). All in all, we were happy with our choice and would recommend this hotel. You should keep in mind though, that it is not "classic" hotel, but it provides a "home like" feeling.

Average hotel
Based on reviews I expected a better service. I planned to leave my bags and go for a walk around Moscow, but was slightly disappointed when I had to leave my bags in the hall where anybody can take it. When we checked in, we found out that there is no towel and pillow for a 3rd person (we've booked for 3 people). We asked at the reception and got towels, but no pillow. After few hours we asked again and were told that the clean lady will bring it later. We then left the hotel and when we returned at about 11pm, the pillow still wasn't there and we had to ask for the 3rd time and finally got it. As to the rest, the room is quiet and we had a great sleep, shower was clean, hot water was available all day. Hotel is close to Metro station Aviamotornaja, but was hard to find first time, so had to ask for directions.
