Rooms were clean but the beds were a little hard. Hallways were loud. The pool was over crowded but it was nice that there was one for small children as well as a hot tub. The hot tub was barely lukewarm and DIRTY. Bugs and just plain needed to be cleaned. I was bitten/stung by some kind of water bug at least twice.

In all but one respect, this is a superb HIE. It is convenient to the interstate, but quiet as well as clean, well staffed, and well maintained. There is a decent Tex-Mex restaurant across the road, and a large truck stop next door to the restaurant that sells the usual array of food, drink and sundries. The problem here is the lack of security on the rear (south side) of the property, which is where the unsecured pool and hot tub are situated. We were in the pool area, and an adjoining picnic area, from roughly 10 AM to 7 PM. During this time, we witnessed individuals and groups parking in surrounding lots and walking over to use the pool facilities. Each day of our stay, in mid afternoon, a pack of small children walked in from somewhere in the neighborhood, and took over the pool area in the predictably disruptive way that small, unsupervised children behave. We cannot help but wonder whether the hotel's insurance carrier is aware of what is going on. Staff certainly is, and two of them expressed their frustration to us that the problem, which has obvious solutions, remains unaddressed.

My wife and I stopped at this location after driving a very long day due to many other locations being sold out. Happily, this location was very clean, well maintained, and convenient along our route. In these troubling times, it was good to get a sense of normalcy while at this location. Our room , a King, was well suited for our needs. The complimentary breakfast in the AM was self serve, and had plenty to fill our needs. Being able to self serve was the best, it reminded us of how things used to be, and should be... I highly recommend this location. I hope you find this review helpful in makingyour next travel plans.

Stayed here for a quick overnight while driving from Texas to Georgia and it was perfect for that. Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was kind, and all appropriate Covid precautions were being taken (which I can’t say was the same in the rest of the town). Would definitely recommend and stay again if passing through.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! We had a horrible experience at another hotel 40 mins out from here and ended up leaving at about 1:30am on 09/06. When we arrived at this location we we're greeted with kindness and compassion from Annissa! Although they were sold out due to the holiday weekend, she made note of our situation and worked with the morning team to ensure we got into a room as soon as humanly possible. She set up some awesome team work!! And she made us feel safe and As comfortable as possible in the mean time. When Celena arrived in the morning we were treated with that same kindness and compassion! She worked with Gemma and Marie in housekeeping, and as soon as a room was vacant they immediately moved in and cleaned it for us!! As promised Celena called us at 8:14 am and got us into that room so we could finally get some sleep. The room was so clean and set at a perfect temperature. The bed and pillows we so comfortable, and for being a terrible night prior, it was such a good night's sleep! We are still staying in this hotel and everyone we have encountered on staff has been very pleasant. The biggest shoutout and THANK YOU goes to Annissa and Celena, we desperately need more people like you in the world!!! When we were so far from home and in need of help, it felt like you were family and I am forever grateful for you ladies!!
