Thermas Hotel & Resort

Hotel Thermas de Mossoró was inaugurated on January 12, 1979 by Dr. Government. Lavoisier Maia nephew as the state government project to internalize tourism taking advantage of the powers of our region. Quaint fact happened when the pools were being supplied for the first time, dawning full of "black gold" (petroleum). This discovery marked the beginning of oil exploration on lands of Rio Grande do Norte, fourth largest oil producer in Brazil. This well continues to work until today in the hotel's internal area.
