Visiting Blue Mound State Park
Solid hotel. Clean. Had good wifi but was not at full capacity. Has good pool & basic workout room. Grocery store & Subway down the street. Vending machines have snacks & drinks. Free newspaper & allows dogs with bags available by exit where you could walk dog.
Rude and refused to give what we paid for
We drove all the way to this hotel after we booked a family stay and play to go skiing with a deal this hotel offered upon arriving they refused to give us the ski lift tickets we paid for. They refused to honor the deal we had pre paid for the front desk girl told me I needed to read the fine print which once I showed her how she was wrong she reluctantly gave us 1 day of the tickets we paid for but refused to give us the next days. I would highly suggest you avoid booking any family deals with this hotel as they will NOT honor them and fight with you about it. You will be out the money you paid and they will refuse to work with you in anyway. If I could give 0 stars and scram from the ski mountain top stay away from this rudely run hotel !!!!!
Great from start to finish
Well kept hotel. Modern and clean. Cozy. First time in the area and this served as the most welcoming of accommodations. We used the shuttle for the “Caves After Dark” which was convenient and thoughtful and were very surprised with the generous complementary breakfast. Love the trolls too! Thanks for making our short trip special.
Nice Stay Great Staff
This is a really nice hotel, very clean, and quiet. We were greeted and checked in by a very knowledgeable girl, she told us all about the history of the town, the trolls, and the best places to eat. The breakfast was nice, not special. The hotel was rather empty this time of year, like the town. We walked down town alone, we are alone, and stayed alone. very quiet here in November. Love the trolls..
Comfortable, Quiet Night
We stayed at this motel when we went to the ROCKStoberfest at the Cave of the Mounds also located in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. The motel ran a shuttle between the Cave and the hotel which was very convenient. We could enjoy the night and not have to worry about driving back to the motel. Our stay was comfortable and quiet. We found the room to be very clean and the staff to be very pleasant. We would certainly stay at this motel again if we were in the area.
