Not a good experience
Opinión escrita el 11 de julio de 2022
I guess we got the room that never got rented. It was musty, the surfaces on the furniture were in need of a good cleaning. The bathroom vanity was ant infested. Hopefully, we just got them on a bad day.

Old, but nice accommodations
Opinión escrita el 1 de junio de 2022
This sweet hotel is a good choice while traveling through. Our room was on the main level, front side. We liked being able to park right in front of our room. At first the noise from the nearby highway seemed really loud, but when we were in the room with the door shut and the air conditioning running, the noise was minimal. Our room was small, but clean. It smelled old and musty when we first entered, but this is an older hotel and that should be expected. The smell cleared after we started the air conditioning unit. Beds were very comfortable. There wasn't much for breakfast; you could make a waffle or have cereal. That's about it. But they had coffee hot and waiting! This is not a luxury hotel, but we would recommend it to others and would stay here again.

Very clean
Opinión escrita el 23 de mayo de 2022
The Inn is certainly not fancy but was very clean. Everything in the room was in good condition and functioned well. The shower had excellent water pressure. We chose the back side of the Inn so there was no road noise. The window unit was a little loud but it blocked out all noise from outside and did not keep us awake. The beds were in excellent condition. We were pleased to see an open Bible on the table when we entered the room. We’ll stay there again when traveling through that area.

Nice affordable inn
Opinión escrita el 11 de octubre de 2020
Room was clean, lady at front desk was friendly, and the room rate was affordable. Main complaint is that they are not serving breakfast due to covid. There are no restrictions in Missouri and other restaurants just up the road are open so you have to assume they are using the virus as an excuse to save money on food and staff. If breakfast was served they would get a five star review.

Expensive One-Night Stay in Dated Accommodations
Opinión escrita el 7 de agosto de 2020
The room smelled musty when we arrived but we hoped that running the AC/fan pretty much non-stop would help. About 10 PM I noticed ANTS crawling all over the bathroom counter and sink. I notified the front desk, and was brought a can of pesticide for crawling bugs. I had to remove all of our toiletry items, and then spray the bathroom myself. I closed the door for an hour hoping to keep the chemical mist mostly in the bathroom. Then I returned to the bathroom and had to wipe down the counter and sink so we could actually use it safely. (I didn't put any of our personal items back in the bathroom because I didn't want them infested.) Of course the hotel's usual complimentary breakfast buffet had been halted due to the COVID virus, but they didn't even provide "go-bags" of wrapped muffins, sealed cartons of yogurt or fruit cups, and juice boxes as many places in the same price range are doing at this time. There was no price reduction in light of reduced amenities. With tax, our stay for two seniors was more than $95. (This place doesn't even have a pool.) I requested a discount upon check-out in light of my self-provided exterminating and cleaning services. The desk clerk was conveniently "not authorized" to give discounts and offered a comment card for me to fill out for the management, which I did. (No response from the management five business days later.) This place takes blatant advantage of the fact that there's a shortage of places to stay in the area and in my opinion, their rates are nothing short of price-gouging for inferior accommodations. They don't even offer a senior rate. They are not pet-friendly. My advice is to drive right on through Mountain View and find somewhere else to stay.
