Cozy and personal, we thought of every detail. The inn is housed in an old mansion of colonial architecture from the nineteenth century, uniting charm and comfort right in the historic city center.

Good but noisy
We went there in may 2015. The pousada is well located, rooms are big and clean, but it was noisy. We could listen the tv from other rooms as well as the steps from upstairs. Breakfast is very good. Overall it is a good option to stay, but make sure you stay in the upper floor.
Typical & pleasant
I've stayed at pousada mucuge a couple times and would come back again. The only thing that needs improvement is the mosquitoes. They need to find a solution to extinguish or reduce them drastically. Everything else is very good. Especially the breakfast.
A Pleasant experience
My wife, adult daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights last week. The experience was enjoyable. The town is quiet and charming, the breakfast at the hotel was excellent, the staff is always willing to please, the room was large enough, and from Mucuge you can experience some of the best the Chapada has to offer. There is private parking in the back.
We spent 11+12 November 2014 as part of a birding group. A really lovely pousada in a beautiful but quiet street. Nice big clean room. The large fan was needed for the mosquitoes. Staff very helpful. A walk up the road past a town square to very nice restaurants.
The hotel is a beautiful old colonial house. Best breakfast ever in the Chapada - impressive long table. Clean and spacious bedroom. The only proper hot shower we had during our stay in the Chapada. Like most places, free Wi-Fi. Situated in the heart of Mucugê. I slept very well except for the coq screaming at am LOL!
