Very unpleasant manageress at reception.

The staff seem to be quiet upset that they actually have guests, plus a very unpleasant unsmiling Manageress at Reception. All seem to be disturbed that anyone would actually want to visit the hotel. All busy amongst themselves , do not want to be bothered by any one, especially a guest. Apart from the fact it's way out of town , nice surroundings but run down.

Swimming pool is great, lots of spare beds to lounge on and very reasonable price at 150 Thai Baht (120 per person if there is 5 or more of you). It is lovely and quiet so perfect for relaxing. There is facilities to buy drinks, snacks and lunch. The only downside was the staff were really rude. Note I was only a day guest, I did not stay here.

A large "resort" located on the site of a former childrens' school, classrooms and the main administration building converted into accommodations, reception and restaurant area. Pricing varies from ultra-cheap youth-hostel style bunk rooms, about 12 moderately priced private rooms (two singles or a queen bed) in an old school building with jalousie (louvred) windows, charmingly creaky wooden floors, an ultra-quiet air-conditioner in each room (also equipped with mosquito nets hanging above each bed); communal bathing/toilet huts have separate mens and womens sections, each with several private shower stalls and toilets); and there are also some higher-priced rooms with private bathrooms.
The pool (open 7:00am to 7:00pm) is one of the nicest hotel pools I've enjoyed. The breakfast buffet (included) was perfectly satisfactory w/ eggs, toast, rice, salads, fruit, drinks, and more.
As a bonus, at the front corner of the property by the entrance is a wonderful Thai restaurant I got addicted to visiting every day of my stay.
Large communal bottled-water dispensers allow you to refill your own water bottle as often as you like.
If you're staying in one of the non-bathroom private rooms (toward the front of the property) then carry your headlamp if you head for the communal toilets or showers at night because if another guest finds the light switch and turns off all the lights you are in pitch-black darkness. (Two rooms are located near the shower/bath buildings and I suspect the occupants would not like all the bright lights on all night near their rooms).
A great 2 night stay

We were here for two nights as part of our tour package. It's a lovely place outside of the main city, which is about a 20 walk away. The staff are lovely, the pool is a welcome relief from the heat, and the grounds are nice. Breakfast was tasty, the room was clean and quiet.
