Tranquil courtyard in the old town
We had a very relaxing stay for 4 nights with our baby. The superior room upstairs was nice a spacious for the three of us. The staff we friendly and helpful, booking restaurants for us and cooking our babies pasta. Top service! The pool was too cold to swim in, but it’s a beautiful little setting, and walking distance to all the sights. Thoroughly recommend
An oasis in the old city of Chiang Mai
We experienced a sensational stay at the Garden Yard Inn. From booking to check out everything was wonderful. All the staff are brilliant, service oriented as well as being incredibly warm and friendly. The grounds of the inn are beautiful and extremely well maintained. Our room was superb, so beautifully styled with the most beautiful and also extremely functional bathroom. The room is generous in size and our room also had a beautiful day bed. The beds so so comfortable not sure what previous reviewer was so unhappy about. The pillows so comfy. Amazingly great bed linen. Our room also had a fridge which was useful in the high heat. The little touches are brilliant with a hairdryer and a mosquito plug for the wall. Our room looked out on the beautifully clean and generous pool. The staff were so helpful and take such pride in keeping the inn in an such immaculate state. Our room was cleaned daily and was truly efficient. We adored our stay here and will return. It is a superb location close to great cafes and amenities but the beauty of this place is the serenity. Thank you for our wondrously delightful stay. And many thanks to all the great staff.
Perfect stay
Great place to stay. Beautiful hotel, friendly as helpful staff, amazing location. Would definitely book again. Hotel kept very clean. Steps from the markets and great food. Came for New Years and had an fantastic trip, wish we could have stayed longer to have more time to explore the city and the mountains
Cute, but beds very uncomfortable
Location is perfect for getting out and walking around to see temples, markets, bars and restaurants. Red sharing cabs available at end of each street making it super cheap to get everywhere. Much cheaper than Tuk Tuk. Rooms clean and well presented. However both my partner and I barely slept a wink due the the concrete slab we slept on for two nights. I invested in tiger balm and even a sever smothering of it didn’t touch the pain both our bodies were in. Breakfast not included. Cash only. While nice places exist around for breakfast their own selection is not great. If you like sleeping on concrete then this is the place for you. If your body respects a more comfortable option, perhaps look elsewhere. From what I see this hotel is expensive for same options around here. Cute looking hotels are nothing if you get no sleep.
