Despite accepting bookings from a number of booking sites, Home Boutique Hotel is definitely closed. I went there to have a look and see how much the walk-in rate was. The old woman went to get a young guy and he told me the hotel was closed. When I asked him why they were still accepting bookings from booking sites if they were closed, he didn’t want to give me a straight answer.
Great example of More for Less

What can I say? From the beggining we were really comfortable on the Home Boutique. It's a homely and quiet hotel were you can stay as you visit the city. Is near the city center, on a quiet street at night, and walking you can visit all the city. The breakfast is one of the worst points, is too simple and not to much wide, and the coffee is horrible... but for the price you pay... I have to thank personally to the guy that is at night as he drive me and my girlfriend to the bus station at 12 o'clock of the night as there was no tuk tuk or taxi service at this hour. He accompany us with his own car, letting his wife on the house and with his pijama... Really, we were very thankful with him...
Extra rating for friendly service and the price

I probably wouldn't stay again though. Like I said, the service was friendly. A young man and his girlfriend generally man the "front room." They try to be helpful and it was nice talking with them. The ladies in morning fixing breakfast are also quite nice. What I got is probably definitely worth the price I paid. Location is ok - in town not really far from the few foreigner oriented bars and restaurants. Seven-Eleven across the street a block down. I just wasn't crazy about the room. A very clean room and decorated ok but the bathroom had this odor like coming from the drainage I think. Bed didn't really have a proper mattress - more like hard foam covered by thick plastic. Also the sheets were this off-color brown. I think hotels should always have spotless white sheets. It's a family operated place and I always problems with reviews of small places like this run by really nice people.
Nice friendly place

À vert welcoming family, they do their best to make you feel at home. The room is nice and very quiet with a nice bathroom. There are some free snack, water and coconut juice. They can make breakfast earlier than 8:00 if you ask. Extremely quiet.
One of the bests ever

We spent two nights in this hotel. The room is big, free water, coffee, snacks and coconut drink. Really nice private toilet with hot & new shower. AC working so well and we also had a TV and a really nice terrase! The family who run this hotel are so lovely that you feel like your own home. They help you as much as they can! And always had a smile on their faces! Really nice typical thai breakfast! We will definetly recomend this place!!
