Comfortable, clean and close to center
Large, clean room and an easy walk along a nice shopping street to city centre. Efficient and friendly staff. There is a sidewalk cafe nearby that offers wonderful breakfast options, and a metro station is less that 5 minutes away.
Very Expensive Hostel for Oktoberfest
Stayed for Oktoberfest and for the price paid (bookingbwas done well in advance) I expected justba little more room decor was dated 2 x tiny a creaky single beds with a sheet no tea/coffee/water in the room bathroom was old toilet was stained you could get a month in a travel lodge for the price of 2 nights!! Room red hot and you can’t open the window as street so noisy... I’d look elsewhere
Central and easy to get to places
We weren't sure about this hotel, as reception for checking in/out and breakfast are in the Hotel du Train 50m round the corner. It actually works OK and the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Bettina in reception! The rooms are cleaned daily and were fine. The only drawback - which is not the fault of the hotel - is that we stayed there during a heatwave and so had to sleep with the window open. There are some very noisy drunks in the adjacent gardens, so sleep was disrupted.
Ok but nothing special.
Stayed here with a group of 6. Rooms were comfy and clean but very spartan. Signage to hotel was very poor. Breakfast was expensive for what it was so we went over to the cafe on the corner, Woeners, which was excellent and cheaper. Wouldn’t say don’t stay there but there is surely better for the price.
Hard to find but convenient location
The location is quite close to the main tourist attractions and is very close to the nearest Ubahn station, which was convenient. With the window closed, it was very quiet even though it's on a very bust street. Room was a very nice size and quite clean. Bathroom was also a nice size with all amenities. Beds were quite comfortable. There is an elevator as well, although very tiny, which was handy. On the down side, VERY HARD TO FIND!! VERY CONFUSING! I'm not sure why, but the place you check in is totally around the other side of the street to where you actually stay! You can't access the front desk or breakfast room from where your room is. We had a very hard time finding the correct location. It was quite inconvenient. It's also right in the middle of a very busy street. They were also doing construction right outside our window. But thank goodness for good German engineering on the windows! When it was kept closed, we didn't hear a thing. The only bad thing was, it did get very warm and stuffy with the window closed. We didn't try the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was, but the front desk staff was friendly and helpful nonetheless.
