It was our three day weekend trip in Munich Germany. We didn't have breakfast, so no experience on breakfast service. Hotel was close to train station not city center but was not problem when you have a car. Room was good and clean when we check in, changing towels was great but bed sheet :( Complimentary coffee and machine was great courtesy at the first day but didn't replace after that. It is very simple but contemporary hotel that close to parking or you can park on the street if available (we didn't have any problem) We didn't have time to use other facilities at the hotel but I'm sure all good.

A few minutes walk to tram 23 so you can get access to all Munich offers very quickly, this hotel is modern, fresh and great value. Excellent for all the family! The rooms are spacious, there’s a great gym and the WiFi is very good throughout the hotel - five stars from me.

Modern and family friendly in nice location

Truth - I booked the Star Inn Premium two days before our trip to Munich (which had been purchased 9 months prior) because well, life happens. I traveled with my family (2 adults and 2 kids) and we got a room with two king beds. I had no idea what I was going to get. At first it looked very 80's building-ish and it didn't help that I didn't know if it was the building in front of us or to the side next to the parking. I walked into a beautifully modern clean and spacious lobby. The very nice lady who checked us in said she spoke a little English which I guess is German for "I'm completely fluent". She couldn't have been any nicer. The room was clean and modern but European sized for a family of four - it didn't matter we were only there to sleep. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We did eat breakfast one morning (16 euro per adult - kids free) which of course is steep considering you can get a cup of coffee and croissant for less than 10 euro. But the breakfast was pretty darn amazing. I love Munich, the people, and the Star Inn. BTW - we also saw a Star Inn in Salzburg and it was equally as nice.

I stayed here in March after coming back from a ski trip to Ischgl. The hotel rooms, cleanliness and standard is a bit above what you can expect for this class but it's in customer experience that they really shine. The staff in the front desk helped me to ship my skis back to Sweden after Lufthansa had made me not wanting to bring any sports baggage ever again. Apart from that they were always attentive to our requests which were many. :) We enjoyed a Sunday afternoon watching football on their TV. They have Sky Sport and Sky Bundesliga.

I went here with my family last January.The structure was good , it's located 5 minutes walk by the tram and the bus for the city center (almost 10 minutes for arrive to Munchener Freiheit). The room was wonderful and probably pillows and beds are the best of my life.At the reception we bought a ticket for public transport.
