Terrific Hidden Gem
We arrived planning to stay two nights, but enjoyed it so much we ended up staying four nights. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Despite COVID, breakfast was very good - including fresh scrambled eggs. Comfy bed, great kitchen facilities, delightful shower with jets, and room was very clean. The on-site restaurant was very good. Great accessibility for wheelchair access (though access to the restaurant could be better). Good location near marsh walk, restaurants, Brookgreen Gardens, etc. Hope to be back again.
Finally were able to stay here and weren't disappointed
My wife and I have visited this area several times since moving to Columbia. I noticed this property and planned to book a stay there sometime. Finally did this past weekend. Room was great. The public areas are fantastic. We enjoyed our relaxing stay. So relaxed never even thought about using the provided WIFI. Service from checking in thru checking out was awesome. There were instructions on how to use the multi-head shower. Of course I didn't need them until I blasted myself with cold water. The directions were easy to understand. We will be back again but, only for a longer stay.
Large clean and spacious rooms
This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Murrell's Inlet. My room (#311) was an efficiency with a king bed and pull out couch. The kitchen offered a full size refrigerator, two burner stove and a dishwasher. The bathroom provided the comforts of home. The Continental breakfast policy changed a bit during the pandemic, you now are required to make your breakfast selection from an extensive menu the night before for pickup starting at 8 am. This new policy may not work for early risers but there's no shortage on items you can select. So in spite of the pandemic limitations this hotel was a great choice! The only reason I did not give this hotel a five was due to the fact that the WiFi in my room was not working. I reported the issue only to be told I have to keep trying to log in. The WiFi did work fine in the area of the main entrance but was never resolved in my room.
Lovely lodge / very clean
The Inlet Sports Lodge is GREAT. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will NOT go wrong selecting this location. It’s close to a number of restaurants and seafood shops. I took my wife FISHING. We drove up one day. Enjoyed a nice meal at Costa’s. The next morning we hit all the great seafood shops and brought home a nice amount of fish and shrimp.
Lovely rooms, very spacious. Well appointed complimentary breakfast and coffee.
Very nice property in great location. Front desk team was super friendly and helpful. Loved the interior courtyard with corn hole and one hole putting green. Weather was great (low 70s in early Jan!) so we spent some time out there at night. Roof top deck was a nice surprise and a great place to watch sunset with a cocktail and sunrise with coffee. Coffee and breakfast were ready by 6:30 which these early birds appreciated! We will stay again.
