Great Stay - Almost a "5"
Super convenient location as it was close to restaurants, gas stations, etc. Front desk and hotel staff were welcoming, warm and helpful. Breakfast perfect for what I needed. Rooms well appointed, clean and updated. The only changes would be to have the handicapped buttons for the doors updated and to check the cleaning solution used for bathtubs as the bathtub was super slick, and I do not have any mobility needs.
Great customer service!
The owner of the hotel is very passionate about the property and his customers. Got a free upgrade and had a great stay! Great breakfast, pet friendly and restaurants nearby. Great value. Would definitely stay again.
A warm place to keep safe!
Ran into a snowstorm and instead of risking the drive, I chose to hunker down in this Comfort Inn and I’m glad I did! Front desk staff was efficient and friendly. Room was clean, and the bathroom was well appointed with vanity lights (not usually seen in a hotel room of this chain). Exercise room was small and basic. Breakfast was adequate. Left happy the next morning and drove back home safely.
Clean and quit
I stayed over night in comfort inn Muscatine. Very clean and nice motel. Staff was helpful. Will stay there again in future. I loved spacious room and bed was comfortable. Nice breakfast my kids enjoyed swimming pool.
Pleasant Stay
I was a bit hesitant to stay here based on reviews BUT I am glad that I did. The staff was amazing. I wish I had asked for everyone’s names. I arrived a lot earlier than I had originally planned. Because the weather was beginning to turn icy, I didn’t want to drive around more than necessary. I was thankful the woman at the front desk was kind and let me check in early. My room was very clean and comfortable. However the door looked like someone had tried to pry it open. I had to lift the handle up to get it to open and once inside the lock would not turn. I still felt safe as the auto lock worked and the security bar flipped over the latch. During my stay there was an issue with the toilet stopping up. I called the front desk and a young man came up right away to work on it. He was able to get it cleared and running again. I ended up needing to return home to Illinois in the middle of the night but the front desk worker was very kind and quickly got me checked out in a timely manner. I will definitely use this hotel again for future visits to Muscatine.
