Rude nasty place
I am a travel specialist and I travel and spend about 100 nights a year on the road. There is really NOTHING good I can say about this place. The person at the front desk was one of the rudest desk clerks that I have ever met. The hotel was just nasty on the inside. The owners of this hotel are their own worst enemy. If they would deep clean, find a pleasant and honest desk clerk, they might have a chance but as it stands, I expect this hotel is on its way out.
I would not recommend staying here.
Booked this hotel on Wyndham App. Pictures were acceptable on the app. When checked in, it was like another hotel. Complete dump! The window was broken and there was snow flying in. They did not want to issue a refund. I called Wyndham rewards and got the reservation canceled and went to Super 8, much better. I could NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!! I added photos of the room that we took ourselves. They are definitely not like what is advertised.
Great stay
Had a nice stay at the travel lodge I’ve stayed twice in the last two weeks with two different rooms. Both rooms were very clean and quiet It’s located close to everything. The lady at the front desk and cleaning staff were extremely friendly. Always smiling and saying good morning.
TROUBLE
When we got there and checked in. We went down the hallway and it was very cold like the heat was off. Got in our room and no heat on it was in the 20s that night. They were dealing with frozen pipes in other rooms. I wonder why? Oh wait no heat on in the rooms and freezing cold temperatures. The front desk said we could park on the side and come through the side door. Oh that would have been okay but they didn't even have the snow and ice removed from there. There was vehicles that looks like they had been there a few days still covered with snow and was never moved and the sidewalk was not shoveled either. There was no way I could walk through all that since I walk with a walker. Not SAFE for anyone. When I talked to the front desk she stated that she would have someone go shovel it. Well if they did they never removed anything. It was the same way all weekend. It was in the high 40s low 50s during the daytime. Then they told me that the owner stated that they are not to turn the heat on in the rooms or have a hot breakfast and we were told we would have when I booked the rooms. Also our room was not clean in the bathroom and sink area. The sink I had spilled some water on it. I took a washcloth to wipe it up from the back of the sink and the washcloth was dirty with not sure what was on it but wasn't just water. In the bathtub/shower there was hair all over. Not just hair off your head either. There was pubic hairs also. so disgusting. The TV no local channels and every station was very snowy. When I brought this up to the desk their comment was well this is a contractor hotel and you didn't pay much for it. I told them I don't care if I paid $30 or $100 a night this is not acceptable. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
Excellent Stay
We were allowed to check in early and they have made improvements since last year to the rooms I will more than likely stay there next time I go there on vacation would even consider staying there year round
