Great 3 day weekend get away at the Grande Shores Resort.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and up to date. The indoor pool is extremely large and a good temperature. The indoor jacuzzi is also very large and really nice and relaxing. My favorite place to stay in the colder months.

Would definitely recommend. Rooms were nice & clean. Our room was a corner room so it also had a great view of the ocean.. Customer service was outstanding from checkin to checkout. We will be back again.

We were very nervous about staying at Grande Shores, as the reviews were scary bad. But the way our travel calendar was set up, we did not have many options. So we booked a week. The reviews were incredibly wrong. I usually trust Trip Advisor reviews, but Grande Shores is WAY nicer than reviewers have described. Perhaps they are trying to keep this wonderful place to themselves. We checked in on December 10 and stayed one week. We had to pay the resort fee, but did not really get to use all of the included services, like the swimming pools. I mean, we COULD have used them. They were open. But it was cold! The internet service was great. They offered free dvd rentals. Parking was free. So I did not mind paying the resort fee. The room was very clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a lanai with a partial ocean view. We were able to park our car close to our 4th floor room. We had a frig, microwave, and iron in the room. There was also a safe, furniture, and a small table. The bathroom had a full tub and shower. The tv was large with several channels. The staff is AMAZING!!! The staff is really the shining star of this resort. Every single person was friendly, courteous, helpful. Absolutely wonderful. We ran into the bartender who doubles as the electrician. He showed us around and gave us great tips for our stay. So friendly! We had a problem with people in the room next door partying until 2 a.m. so called the front desk. It was handled immediately. My wife lost money in the pop machine. It was politely refunded. I mean, every single encounter with the staff was amazing. The location is fantastic. Right on the beach. Sitting in the resort's lounge chairs in their little garden and looking at the ocean...... priceless!!!!! There is basically one road that goes to every place in Myrtle Beach. The resort is only a nlock from it. The only complaint I have, and its not really a complaint, but I love to snap pictures of sun rises and sunsets. Grande Shores has a 7th floor pool area with stunning views of the beach and ocean. I really wanted to get some pictures of the sunrise from that vantage point, but was locked out because the pool did not open until 9 a.m. oh darn! We loved our stay at Grande Shores Ocean Resort and would return in a heartbeat!

This review is specifically for Steve, in maintenance. As a condo owner, quality maintenance is a MUST, for the success of condo ownership. Over the past year I have had several occasions to interact with Steve, in the upkeep and maintenance of our unit. I would hate to ever see him leave Grande Shores because he is "the best of the best". He does great work, cares deeply about helping in any way possible and makes it his mission to make our condo the best it can be! Thank you STEVE!!!!! You are a tremendous asset to

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the resort. The staff were friendly and the beach was breathtaking. We were in walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. We will definitely visit here again.
