Beds are comfy and service is good buuuut...
The lady at the front desk was great. The beds were awesome too and it felt clean. The shower rod was falling off though and the bath moved when standing in the shower; must have tons of water damage below. The room was basic and low budget. If I was in a pinch and needed a room that was ok for dogs again, I’d stay here. It felt safe.

Website states amenities available. However NO AMENTIES available and no continental breakfast! Myrtle Beach is open but this hotel is stating that governor mandates are keeping their amenities closed. Yes because this hotel does not wanting to comply with state PPE protocols which means someone needs to periodically clean during the day. That should speak volumes right there. From desk girl Lisa was extremely rude, unprofessional and has no customer service. She was annoyed I came in with a Hotels Tonight booking which stated I paid online already and kept trying to rerun my card, after we showed her on my phone I was paid in full. She finally found on her own computer that I already paid and provided a key to a room all the way in the back. The key didn’t work and I had to walk all the way back to the front desk twice where she blamed me for demagnetizing the key with my phone and suggested I find another hotel because we were inconveniencing her. She went on to complain to others that we were annoyed with no amenities and having room key issues. Turns out the lock required batteries! I won’t go into how the room was dirty because I am expecting the hotel owner to come on here and promptly state how they will address this situation just like the do with every other negative review. FYI that doesn’t resolve unhappy guests actually doing something does so you don’t have these types of reviews.
Not a typical LaQuinta Inn.
Rooms not clean and bathroom drains were very slow. Feathers on rug and paper towels covered the light bulbs. Internet was very slow, almost dial up speed. Only one elevator and it was slow even though this is off season. Other LaQuinta is much better.
Love the beds and towels
We like LaQunita because they are pet-friendly and we travel with our dog. The front deck girl was very friendly and we had no issues getting a room. It was disappointing that there is no breakfast, and the use of the pool and gym are not allowed. The room was fine, except out of three lamps in the room, one didn't work at all (on the dresser) and the two others that require two bulbs each, only had one working bulb in them. The refrigerator worked fine as did the microwave. My husband made a cup of coffee in the morning and the blow dryer was fine. The beds and pillows were so comfy and the towels are nice quality. The toilets are really low - I felt like I was going to fall onto the floor! I also am recovering from rotator cuff surgery and the placement of the toilet paper - at the end of the vanity against the back wall is ridiculous!
comfy room and across from the Broadwalk!
we came in late but the Front Desk clerk had a big smile. we spoke gave us the last room we had reserved on line. the room was great no issues. even though no amenities still great bed pillows were good as well. the fridge work the last place in NC didn’t. i would come again right across from the broadwalk!
