Good value for bed and breakfast

Reviewed 28 march, 2019

Stayed here a couple of times found staff friendly but no English but was able to get what I wanted. Room was clean and could have a upgrade to bring to a better standard to suit some of the more fussy patrons. Breakfast is very good keep you going all day. Would stay here again

Don't stay,So scary and dirty old room

We stayed at this hotel as we arrived in Surin quiet late and I couldn't even sleep the room are old the toilet light didn't work as a lighting thing anymore so dark . The floor tiles cover in dust lookalike or old. Wallpaper have some old leaking water mark .

Nothing Grand about this hotel...

Reviewed 24 october, 2018

I've stayed in some pretty bad lodgings over the years and this rates right up there. To be fair, I booked it last minute for the MotoGP and all I could get was this hotel in Surin, a 1 hour drive from Buriram where the MotoGP was being hosted. It was conveniently located in the middle of town but it was less than Grand. When the hotel opened 50 years ago, I'm sure it was a great place... but I don't think anything had been done to it since... perhaps a few coats of paint. The elevators were painfully slow and smelled of dank mold. My room was large but the decor was from the 70's. The worst part of the room was the bed. I'm sure the mattress was 30 years. You could feel every spring the springs would dig into your back. I ended up sleeping in crevasses between the springs. The bathroom wasn't much better. It had huge water stains/damage in the celing, the water scalded/froze you... and I'm sure nothing had been upgraded in 20 or 30 years. The staff were very local and didn't communicate in English which complicated things when I came back to my room on Saturday night (checking out Sunday morning) and all my belongings were gone... clean and dirty clothes, shaving kit, suitcase, etc. They thought that I had checked out... but I left all of my stuff behind??? I was less than thrilled... I've stayed in nicer hostels... I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Worst Ever

Reviewed 9 july, 2018

This place is disgusting. Was stuck needing a hotel in a hurry and booked in here at 1.00pm . Left again at 1.30pm (30 mins was even too long ) . Didnt even argue with staff for a refund as it is without doubt not their fault to be working there . 1. The beds are terrible. Dirty sheets full of holes 2. Bathroom is rotting . Rotting not rotten meaning the ceiling is half collapsed and door is rotting away 3.Tv , big old square box ,no remote ,and 5 local channels with a crap picture 4. Ceiling .covered in cobwebs 5. Pool . Full of bugs and leaves . 6. Price 350bht , not worth 20bht if was a riot outside and needed safe place for an hour 7. Wardrobes didn't open , no handles just a cut in wood In general I wouldn't keep a dog in that place . Don't be fooled by the exterior . Don't like to complain about anywhere but this place needs demolishing

Worst hotel I ever stayed in

Reviewed 9 july, 2018

This hotel was horrible. Start with the staff, they were actually ok and were bilingual but the hotel let them down disastrously. The bathroom: the lights did not work, you would shower in the dark and take a dump in the dark, the ceiling was falling down around us, the sink was rusty and there was a mysterious brown liquid dripping down the wall. The whole room was terrible. The closet door did not open and the handle was just a square cut into the wood of the door and still had not been sandpapered and would give you splinters. TV did not have a remote and had a maximum of only 5 channels( not multilingual ). The bed sheets had multiple holes in them and the windows were very dirty. This did not have a balcony. At the price of about 350 baht I would not have even payed 100 baht. By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in my whole life.
