Worst Experince in Lagos Hotel inNairobi
I checked in the hotel at 5.00pm on 11th January 2020, but there was no water in the room from the time i checked-In to the time i checked out and there was no solution offered to me. The whole night i stayed without water and without taking shower hoping the water would come anytime but i was wrong. In the morning when i woke up i called the reception and i was told i would have water within 10 minutes. I waited until 10.00am and no water was flowing in the bathroom. I had paid for breakfast and was forced to check out immediately without the breakfast to go and book another hotel just to take shower and breakfast. This was my worst experience in a hotel in the city. Even after i checked out annoyed i expected the management or the owners to call me and apologize but no one bothered to call. Such as experience can be expected in downtown lodges but not an hotel.
Good and clean
A nice hotel in the middle of Nairobi. Nothing fancy, but a good budget choice. Our first hot shower and water closet after a week on the road 🙂 A nice touch was the two bottles of water waiting for us in the room. The bed was hard as I prefer, but my partner found it too hard. Breakfast consisted of a plate of fruit, omelette, sausage, chips, and coffee or tea. All in all a pleasant stay that can be recommended.

Basic hotel in noisy location
We had 1 night here on the way through from Kenya to Zanzibar. It is right by a bus station, which was very noisy both day and night. The room and the bed were fresh and clean, but extremely basic with a tiled floor and headache-inducing lighting. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant was excessively noisy and chaotic, with several different TV shows playing simultaneously to a backdrop of very loud music. The food was fine and reasonably priced.
