This hotel is large and comfortable with spacious rooms and good value. Easy walking distance to the Olympic training and competition centers and part of the major business district. There a many restaurants and shopping options within a short walk as well. The lounge floor is excellent and the lounge itself offers snacks and drinks all day with plenty of room to relax, have a drink or even get some work done. There are two small meeting rooms in the lounge should you want to conduct some business in private. They worked out very well for me with guests.
Renaissance living up to its name
So far I’ve had a very reliable experience at renaissance properties. Starting with a chance stay in Hong Kong, before I joined the Marriott Bonvoy program but also in my stats at a few other properties I found renaissance hotels to offer good service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a great VFM. We were given the upgrade to a studio room with lounge access. As we were fully aware, the location is not very central but with the metro being as convenient as it is that didn’t stop us from exploring the city together. We enjoyed our stay :)
The rooms are large, the hardware and equipment are also very complete, and the sound insulation is not bad. The environment is very good, the service attitude is also very good, the house prices are higher, the eating price is higher, the location is also very good, the subway is convenient. Shopping is also very close, and it is convenient to eat.
The hotel is spacious, clean and about 5-minute walk from metro station (Olympic Stadium East). We stayed there for one night in a large, clean and comfortable room. Many thanks to White, who was very helpful and friendly providing valuable information about the area and local transportation.
A little disappointed
This is our 3rd time staying in this hotel. We also upgraded to use Club Lounge. All in all, this is a excellent hotel. However, I must say this time, I am a bit disappointed in their buffet breakfast. The serving time is to 10:30 am but when I arrived at 9:30 , many dishes were empty. When we asked the servers about this situation, we were told, “will let people know”, yet, the manager failed to do anything. In Club Lounge, it happened as well. We were quite disappointed. As a 5-Star hotel, services are the main reason for returning quests. We still have 2 days left for this trip. I sincerely hope the conditions will be improved. Thank you.
