The help is extremely nice , especially Dario .. I forgot my phone charger and he delivered it to me personally.. Rooms simple .. breakfast mediocre Within walking distance of the train station Hence in the center of Naples
Everything you need
Location is very convenient, just five minutes by foot from both Garibaldi and Porta Nolana railway stations, as well as Garibaldi metro station (Lines 1 and 2). The neighborhood is not particularly appealing, but it’s full of great places to taste typical street food. A 10 minute walk will take you to the historical center, and a quick metro ride to all main attractions in the city. The hotel itself is fine, clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.
4 night stay
We have just returned home from our 4 night stay in Hotel Columbo and we would definitely return! The hotel is immaculately clean from reception to rooms to bathrooms. I didn’t expect the room to be cleaned and towels changed daily which was a lovely surprise! The hotel is in a noisy, busy and vibrant part of the city but the windows in the rooms shut out all the noise so you can relax. But by far and away the best bit about the hotel was the staff! They were amazing, always friendly and welcoming and always happy to offer advice on activities/public transport etc. We wouldn’t hesitant to return! An easy 5 stars.
Great hotel in characterful area.
This hotel was perfect for our recent 10 night stay. Clean room We’ve stayed in more expensive hotels and never had the towels changed everyday, always a smile and welcome from Dario and the rest of guys. Breakfast was plentiful lots of nice bread, ham cheese and lovely pastries alongside cereals and yogurts. Great coffee which was always ready for us, my husband liked an espresso after his Americano I was beginning to get a taste for it done the Neapolitan way. Yes the surrounding area was not the most salubrious but you just had to have your wits about you, loved the fact we could walk 5 minutes to Circumvesuviana station for local train to Pompei and wander up to Centrale station on piazza Garibaldi for all other trains. Loved our first visit to Napoli.
Nice hotel
Very nice hotel in the heart of Naples we stayed 3 nights and had a very nice stay.The room was small but very clean suitable for a city break.The breakfast was also very good with a good choice of pastries cereals etc.The staff were all very helpful from booking trips to giving directions and making coffee.The surrounding area is not very clean but this is not the hotels fault and anyway a few steps and you are in a busy shopping area of Naples.All in all a very nice clean hotel ensuring a nice break in Naples
