Excellent location near waterfront, Ovo Castle, and Mt. Echia where Naples started as a Greek colony. Right behind Royal Continental Hotel at one quarter of the price. Bedroom and bathroom both sizable with high ceiling and cleaned daily. Noise from shower and toilet above, but not from neighboring rooms. Internet fast and reliable. Air conditioning efficient and quite. Breakfast excellent by Italian standard as most Italians don't have much of a breakfast. Host lives on premise and is responsive to email. I don't feel right to knock on her door because she has her own life to live.

Nice place, friendly host and Anna,who takes care of guests on weekends, is great with her Neapolitan breakfast or you can have it your way more international. Very important for real coffee lovers, Anna makes the real Neapolitan coffee and offers it at breakfast. Very strategically close to castel dell'ovo on the long stretch in via Caracciolo.try it.

Had a wonderful stay at B & B Platamon

If I visit Naples again, I'd like to stay again in B&B Platamon. It is located conveniently. Bus stop is practically next door, the sea front is few steps away, the area is decent and clean. The room was spacious, clean, simply decorated, and with a kitchenette. It has free wifi too. The hosts were friendly and helpful. When my suitcase did not arrive for three days, and I was busy with my conference, they kept calling the airlines. The complimentary breakfast was quite good, with croissants, bread, biscuits, juice, honey, tea, coffee. The building has an elevator also. The only thing is that it is not on any Metro Line. However, there are buses to take to go to a nearby Metro Station, or to the City Center, or to the Napoli Garibaldi Train Station, or even to Circumvesuviana station.

Always come back to here. Why?- Ooooo, it's a better location (5 step's to sea, to shopping), a better service, a democratic price, but most importantly - the owners Marco and Anna Sophia created a wonderful home comfort. Here, i don't have problems. Thanks to the creators!

Our guest stayed at the Dimora dei Baroni, which owners are the same of the B&B Platamon. He got a very nice room and enjoyed his time in Napoli. The owners were really kind with all of us and they offered to our guest the best location they could find.
